I am behind here again.

Yesterday was a good day, because my husband got a med for me I ran out of and so I was able to sleep afterward, and sleep I did.  :)

Today was/is a good day, because my nephew and wife mowed our yard for us again, and that is such a blessing. I am getting ready to finish up sewing on a small project to get in the mail to a swap partner tomorrow. I have fun doing this, and so does the others.

Have a great week everyone!  :)

I was pleased to clean up and fertilize five small perennials today.  That, in spite of being under the weather for the last week or more.  Nice to be working in the dirt!

Carebear that was nice, and hope you feel better. I rested today, but nice remembering all the times I couldn't. Hubby got us some groceries today allowing me to rest.

Susan, you are lucky your husband got groceries today.  Unfortunately my spouse will leave with a list of ten items, get home with thirty items, and none are what I needed.   :(   So I have to be the grocery shopper, as long as I have someone driving me.

Thank you for the wish that I feel better.  A bit better, thankfully.

Today I had my granddaughters here for a few hours.  We had a tea party, played charades, and watched the movie "Babe".   It was a good day.

Today I feel good. I had the endoscopy and don't have any ulcers or nasties. I do have a hiatus hernia, but understand that can be managed. Mum's endoscopy was clear.

The sun is shining here in West Yorkshire, and life is good.

Thanks Susan.

It is a public holiday here today, so we took the opportunity to go to an out of town store for some jeans for DH. We were out around 2 hours and I still managed to do some weeding in the garden when we got back. It was only 10 minutes, but it all helps.

Another good day.

Carebear

Today my little guy and I walked around the neighbourhood, enjoying the sounds of the birds chirping and looking at the plants and trees beginning to bud.  I slept like a log later this afternoon.  It was a good darn day.

This morning we woke up to a few inches of snow on the ground.  Much needed moisture and a good day to "chill out".   ;D

The storm yesterday resulted in about seven inches of snow.  The very wet, very heavy kind. I was able to do some shoveling!

I was a bit silly because I fertilized the lawn while it snowed and blew like the dickens.  I reasoned that I could easily see the fertilizer on the snow, and then how green the lawn would be once the snow melted!

It is a beautiful sunny morning here.  And by the weekend, the snow will be a distant memory.

This may not sound like a good thing, but it really is a relatively happy outcome.

My little dog Andy had oral surgery yesterday.  Five abscessed teeth, one molar with a hole right through it and a mass attached to another tooth.  So seven teeth an a big old growth were removed.

He went in for a biopsy on two small sores but they weren't sores.  No one knew how bad he was, not even me.  He had his teeth cleaned six months ago and I brush his teeth every day.  Sound familiar?   I guess he picked the right mom.

So the good thing is that he doesn't have cancer like we originally thought.  And he is doing better than I would do after all that surgery.  He is 14 pounds of brave cuteness.

Oh Carebear that did make for a great day. I am so so glad your little fur baby does not have cancer. I know how much I love mine. Your fur baby does have the right momma indeed.  :)

Anytime I hear a good ending to a story about one's little fur baby it makes my day a good one.  :)

I am so happy for both of you.

I am up early, and trying to stay up to get myself a bit straightened out on my day and night hours. I did go to bed early last night so that is why I am up early. I am hoping to see my dad today.

Hugs,
Susan/susanep

First of all, it's FRIDAY.

Second, it's sunny, dry and 80 degrees today. My flowers are soooooo happy. Morning glories began blooming, which means summer is officially here.

It's Teacher Appreciation Week, which means a nice cookie or something in our mailboxes every day. I don't need the sugar at all, but still  :D

State tests are over for the year.

I have been feeling fat, stiff and miserable this week, but I broke out last summer's capri pants this morning and they still fit exactly they way they should.

So, life is good.
I refuse to tiptoe quietly through life, only to arrive safely at death's door.
