I got through eating better Tuesday. Heard good news of a healthy little baby being born.  :)

I received a pretty mini quilt wall hanging in the mail today with flowers on it, and that made me smile. My hubby got some rest today. All of this made for a good day.

It's lovely to follow this thread. You are inspiring me to find something good about each day too.

Today I had the energy to visit my next door neighbour after work; something that is unusual for me as generally I don't have the energy to do anything after supper. My neighbour was pleased to see me and Tia too.

I got discharged by the physiotherapist today as she reckons she's done what she can for the frozen shoulder and it is much improved.  :)

Oh Kathy that is so sweet of you to say.

Scottie that is great news that you are discharged, and it helped.

I am up writing late, because the nursing home called to let me know my dad had fell, but he is fine. They said he is proud and won't ask for help. I told them he has always been that way.

You folks made a good day for me, and also that dad is ok.

Yesterday I had a good day, because I got a few things taken care of outside the home, and a bit in the home. It wasn't easy for me, but I did it.  :)

I weighed this morning since beginning my diet on April 2 and I have lost 8 pounds so I was really happy about that. I went to see my dad at the nursing home today, and he was not doing well, and the man in the room with him was saying he didn't want to live another year, so I started with the other man. I ask him if he would tell me one good thing about today. He said, nothing. I said you mean me coming to see you both today is not good? He said well oh yes. lol... I said great. Then a girl come in to take him for a shower, and I ask him if she was nice. He said, yes. I said see that is another good thing about today, and I had him break out in a big smile. That made my day.  :)

Helping someone else, helped me to have a better day. I got to tell my dad in spite of his not good day how much I love him.

I took my great niece with me, and she loved it. I bought her a pair of flip flops I had heard her talk about. That made a good day too.

Yesterday we walked little Andy along our beautiful river valley for about an hour.  It was cool and windy, but when the sun poked out from behind the clouds it was glorious.

Andy is having some serious health issues right now but I was able to calm down and live in the moment.  You sometimes can't change how things are, but you can change how you deal with them, right?

Susan, that is great!  Keep up the awesome work.  Are you feeling any improvement with all that weight loss?

Yesterday was the first real warmish day for us, and it was glorious poking away in the garden.  I am anxious to see the plants poke through the soil soon.

Thank you Carebear. Whenever I am able to lose weight it helps me when going up stairs etc. The fatigue we all have doesn't change, but when I do move it is easier. Then there is that nice thing of feeling better in my clothes.  :)

I can still have a not great day with eating better, but I am trying to look at it as a lifestyle change, but I still count calories so on the good days I know what's going on. Since I am not active as I once was counting the calories helps me to still lose, and I don't go too low.

I am glad you got to poke around in the garden. That is one of my favorite things to do. I seen my Day lilies coming up good.

I have been in the rest mode today, and hearing about you in the garden makes for a good day for me too.  :)

I decided that the dust on the furniture was thick enough.  Time to polish!  Everything was looking good, until I sprayed the furniture polish right in my eyes!  Pointed the bottle the wrong way.

So the furniture is clean and shiny, and my face is lemony fresh.  Uck.  I need a shower.  :P

We've had the sunshine again today. And it was my day off work, so I felt blessed. I dried some washing outside, sat and watched Tia running around on the grass, and did some weeding.

I've had a good day, and hope you guys have too.

Kathy it sounds like you and Carebear both got things accomplished today.  :)  Clothes always smell so nice hung outside.

All I did today was go for a ct scan scheduled, and I already have the results which show no problems. So that is a good day.

Good news about the scan Susan. I have to take mum for a gastroscopy on Sunday and then go for one myself next Wednesday. I hope it goes well for mum of course, but I hope it doesn't hurt her, or I won't be going for mine!

We have the sunshine again today  :)

I seemed to have got a bit more done yesterday 25th. I went out in my front yard and trimmed some off my spirea bush. I enjoyed that. I did a bit of sewing, and work in my house. It was a good day.  :)
