I hope you and your family had a blessed Christmas. It will be a long winter, but these days it gets long all through the year.
I don't plan to take any vaccines.
I just want to be helpful where I can.
Praying for everyone to have a safe, healthy, and joyful 2023

I'm not anti vax.

To my surprise, my GP doctor, sent out a very slightly different recommendation to patients on who should get the boosters. It included some exceptions like people who had a negative reaction to one of these shots previously.

I've felt from the beginning that it was not a one size fits all type of thing due to a variety of factors.

I've modified my post...there is too much on my mind.

I have two friends with autoimmune illnesses who did poorly after the boosters. One died. One got a bad case of myocarditis.

I have lost several friends and acquaintances the last two years and none from Covid. It's just weird and makes you wonder what might be going on, IF anything.

I also have three , formally healthy friends , with cancer. All fully "inoculated".

****A friend I met on this site with SJOGRENS   died a few weeks ago. She lived near me and we got to meet in person.  I have no idea if there is any correlation to the vax. Probably not. But, it's still very troubling and sad.  I can tell you she was fully vaxed. She developed a very very rare skin disorder that is thought to be autoimmune in nature. She was a super nice woman.

I DO hope legit research is being conducted to answer real/legit  questions and concerns . Are our health agencies gathering data to make the vax safer? Is info being gathered and work being done that might be helpful for all of us, but maybe in particular those with pre existing conditions.

SLE, Sj.  Syndrome, IC, Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia, ITP (low platelets)... Various meds and lots of vitamins. Trying to eat healthy; seems to help a little.

I have to add that I did a lot of research prior to my getting my one tax of J & J and I found out that the vaccines could kick up inflammatory reactions. Not in all people but with my history of having 5 autoimmune disease I was just super hesitant about these vaccines. As time has gon on I have read more info about increase in inflammation in people. There was a post on here some time ago by someone whose doctor was telling his autoimmune patients not to get vaccinated because of this issue. The thing is it takes so darned long for all these side effects and issues to show up and to bee brought to light so that a study can be done. It is not like everything weird happens in the first 2 -3 months. Takes years sometime and this is true of many meds also. Take care. meirish
