Hello, this has worked for me since I started it 7 yrs ago. Google rheumatic.org and click Medical Histories on left side, and also frequent Questions: there is the AP explained. I take the 100 mg capsule on altrnate days with a gastric protector, and aloe vera.Minocyclene and Doxycyclene, which are used in this AP, do NOT cause antibiotic resistance.Info also if you google: drmirkin.com+minocyclene cures reumathoid arthritis. You can print the AP and go to a General Practitioner, he might be more open at prescribing it than a Rheumy. I know people who are in remission from their AI diseases with this economic solution. Dr Thomas ManPherson Brown cured almost 10,000 patients with this AP. Luck to all.

Thanks for sharing.

There are theories that at least some AI diseases are caused by chronic infections or by some microbes escaping from the gut. Also any kind of infection will trigger an immune response and
allow B & T cells to exit the blood and attack tissues. B & T cells need to be activated when they exit the blood otherwise they can't cause much damage and will quickly die.

So it would make sense in the scenarios above that low dose antibiotics would help.

Please tell us. Do you by any chance have a persistently low WBC or high ferritin? Also, did you suffer from IBS before your AI issues started?

It especially helps those who got RA or Lupus from Lyme disease or some other stealth infection.

Dr THOMAS MacPherson-Brown cured almost 10,000 patients witth this AP.Thia is not in the best interests of Big PHARMA.I know of 3 RA cases that were cured from this AP, and one who had Lupus ,and took the protocol without any drs prescription, as did I, and we don't know where our AI came from. I tested positive for mycoplasma antibody. Fact is we never have seen drs again for our AI,never have gone to hospitals from our diseases getting worse, or gone to emergencies. When we followed drs orders(rheumys)  before,  got worse with their prescrptions for Plaquinol etc.Dr.  In my case the only fatigue has gotten worse, but I had fatigue since my teens.NOW I''m in my sixties and retired so I rest whenever neccesary.I don't have low WBC or high ferritin. In the google group there are people who have taken this AP for 20 yrs nonstop. In my country we can get antibiotics without prescription, but I will not go into that.I started with I took clindamycin orally ,not IV.Then took Minocyclene, then because of cost switched to doxycyclene. Google www.rheumatic.org and see for yourselves !!!

My immune disorder is a Primary Immune Deficiency Disorder.

My immune system 1) lacks enough of the basic autoantibodies to protect me, and 2) also attacks my organs/systems.

I suppose it is possible that my immune disorder was triggered by an infection, at birth, since I began showing signs of this disorder at birth.

However, I, for me, it is not possible that any course of antibiotics will restore my Immune System to normal working order.  I have infusions (IVIG) every four weeks, which strengthens my immune system so that I no longer am subject to infections.

However, my Immune System continues to attack my body, adding various forms of neuropathy.  This is very frustrating.

I am delighted that this course of antibiotic therapy has 'cured you'.

I do have some questions:  We're you previously diagnosed with Sjogren's (or another Autoimmune Disorder) through blood tests showing autoantibody activity, or with the lip biopsy (in Sjogren's).

And if you were so diagnosed, do those same tests now indicate that you no longer have autoantibody activity or positive lip biopsy results?

Suppression of symptoms is one thing, a true cure would show up on tests, provided, of course, that the tests showed autoimmune disease prior to treatment with antibiotics.

Hi Trejonia, Tthanks for posting this.
Has this ptotocol helped any with the dryness from SS, specifically does it help any with eye dryness?
Sjogren's (+ RA): positive ANA, RNP, RNP-A, APCA. Severe eye dryness + inflammation, multiple sensitivities and allergic reactions, fatigue.
ORENCIA, Restasis, Anti-inflammatory diet, Vit. D & C, Ubiquinol 100mg, Omega 3....

No help with eye dryness for me or fatigue either. But it has controlled my Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. Before I started this AP yrs ago, I couldn't write with my right hand , cause my thumb was paralized and had horriblr knee pains. And bad joint pain.

Reply to CAROLINA.First I never said I was cured. It has suppressed the Mixed Connective Tissue Disease I have, which includes SJ. I stop the AP for months, then I have flares and the tests : ANA and ANTI DNA show the disease is active. When the lymph nodes in my neck swelled I took Viusid Sachets starting 3 daily, then 2 , then 1 nonstop since late March 2018. I haven't taken AP since then, but will go back eventually cause my joints are starting to hurt, and tingling in hands and feet.People in the RA google group have taken the AP for 20 yrs nonstop. If they stop the disease comes back , and sometimes the AP doesn't work as easily. But if I stop the AP this doesn't happen to me. I take Probiotics daily.

Sorry forgot to tell all the supplements I take: potassium, magnesium, multi vit. ,omega 3 mixed or fish, resveratrol, Arcalion, Viusid, collagen.Vit. B supplements. And also a licenced Dr. injects me with Procaine, called Huneke Therapy , very popular in Germany and Austria, not well known in USA.

The benefits of the protocol you're on remind me of those of the biological med I'm on.

When I was first diagnosed with RA, my rheumy did try me on an antibiotic, I think it was doxycycline. It really upset my stomach, so I had to stop. It makes sense because antibiotics do have an anti-inflammatory component to them, especially that family of antibiotics. I guess it fell out of fashion to use the antibiotics when other meds came on the market. The Pharmaceutical companies have very powerful influence over medicine, some of that is good, some not so much........ We have to find out what works best for us and find a doctor who will work with us. I've gotten some relief from the Functional Medicine approach.
Sjogrens and RA,  Morphea (skin scleroderma), Hashimoto's,
Nexium, synthroid, HRT, plaquenil,  Restasis, Maxi-tears supplement, L-glutathionne, CoQ10, folate, trintillex,  multi vitamin. lisinopril.

I assumed your statement (see below) implied that you were among the lucky 10,000.  Symptom suppression is never to be underestimated, of course.  I am always sensitive to the use of the word 'cure' in relation is Immune Disorders.

Deb 27, the Protocol advises to take AT with a gastric protector, like Omeprazole, Lanzoprazole and aloe vera for upset stomach, plus Probiotics, I do this. It can take months or one + yr for the Protocol to work IF you people have read The Medical Histories in www.rheumatic.org. Funny thing , no one from this forum tries it, and all I get are negative comments. The 10,000 patients dr Brown cured were when he was practicing, we are among the NOT counted. Keep on taking methotrexate which can cause cancer, and Plaquenil which can cause blindness/ or eye damage, and God knows what else.  I was just trying to help, and I don't think I'll write about my experience with AP again.

I know someone who took antibiotics for hpylori even though she probably did not have that condition. It was done purposely in an effort to treat her ITP (low platelets) and in fact her ITP went into remission.
SLE, Sj.  Syndrome, IC, Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia, ITP (low platelets)... Various meds and lots of vitamins. Trying to eat healthy; seems to help a little.
