Wow, Joe, so is mine, Normal and Balanced.

Honestly, I don't think our Cholesterol level has much to do with it.

I think there is an enormous genetic factor, AND I think that the persistent underlying inflammation that we suffer with our Immune Mediated Conditions is an enormous factor.

Plaque is only formed where there is damage to the aerial lining....and that damage is caused by inflammation. 

All the anti inflammatories, and Fish oil and what have you just cannot overcome the damage done by our own Immune systems.

Close monitoring, and calmness in the face of the storm....and I know you have that, Joe.

And, well, a certain acceptance.

I always say: My neuropathy is my most disabling condition, my osteoarthritis is my most painful, but my CAD is my exit Visa. 

It is what it is.  And we just persist with patience, and a certain amount of acceptance.

A question for Joe and Elaine -

May I ask where you purchased the high dose Omega 3, please?  I don't know if we are permitted to use brand names, but I would be very interested in trying this myself as my ophthalmologist has suggested it for my dry eyes.

I use a 40 mg capsule right now, and even that fella is hard to swallow.  The 2800 mg...is it the size of a football, Joe?   ;)

I use 1400 mg capsules.  You can get them in lots of places.  Just Google.  I think I get mine at Costco.
