season

Today, my sister went in to my mothers home to check on her. They live side by side.

She found my mother crouched on the floor and asked her what she was doing crouching in the floor leaning between the sofa and the coffee table. Mother didn't answer and as my sister touched her she realized she had passed on.

What an awful awful day. the pain of losing your mother is indescribable.

I can't sleep. So I'm asking for good vibes, prayers, to be sent my way.

My blood pressure hasn't been good lately and I just want to be alone so I can cry and cry and cry.

((((((Season))))))

I am so sorry for you while reading this and I don't have anything to say to make the hurt go away...allow yourself to feel the sadness in your heart and mourn your sweet mom. No matter what our age...it's never easy to lose a parent....I hope you can feel some of the warm thoughts being sent your way. Hugs to you....

Again...I'm so sorry for your loss today...

Season

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is (at present in my life) the worst thing I can think to go through, or at least among the very top events.

Please take care of yourself and I hope you are able to focus your attention on grieving the way you should.  If I can ever help or lend an ear or anything, please let me know. It is 20 months since I lost my mother and sometimes I still can't believe it.

More than anything I miss her eyes.

Season,
I will keep you and your family in my prayers. 'I'm sorry' for your loss seems so inadequate. "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4

Hi Season

I am really sorry for your loss. It is such a shock when it happens unexpectedly like that too. I know because both my parents went suddenly so there was no mental preparation for their passing.

You have a tough time ahead. Please know that we are always hear to listen to you.

Take care - Scottie

((Dear Season)) - I'm so sorry for your loss.  When things happen suddenly, without warning, it's like the rug is pulled out beneath us.

The next few days will be full of planning and making preparations.  Please, take time for yourself in all this too.  If you are already having blood pressure issues, this added stress and grief will only increase your blood pressure.  IF you experience very rapid breathing, etc. be sure and call your doctor ASAP, and don't put it off.  In fact, contacting your doctor and telling them what you are going through with the sudden passing of your mother - they might be able to give you medicine to deal with all of this (if you need it).

I found, for myself, that when my mother passed away - I went into super-woman mode making sure all the arrangements went as planned, contacting people, etc.  AFTER the funeral and everyone went away, that's when the total exhaustion really kicked in.  Please, take care of yourself too.

There will be times you just don't feel like eating or can't even remember when you ate last.  If you are taking medicines and need to take them with food, don't forget them.

If friends, family, neighbors offer help . . . let them help.  Even if it is just to answer a constant ringing phone so you can go into the bedroom and take a nap . . . it would help.  Or someone to remind you about your pills, etc.

Wishing you comfort and peace in your time of sorrow.  My sympathy and prayers for you and your sister and families.

Hugs,
Bucky
