Mim-We are proud of you too.  What a great milestone!!  With(out)  cigs, a week is a milestone, a month is a milestone, but a year really says "I told you guys I was serious about this."

My daughter has been off cigs since March and I am so thankful!  Enjoy your anniversary day. Yes, I was one (smoker) and quit 11-13-89 and it was the hardest thing I ever did.

You have been a real inspiration to me.  I am setting Sunday the 27th as my quit date.  I just hope I can do as good as you.  I have the SJS and Fibromyalgia, and some mild asthma.  My hubby smokes but he will go outside.

I read your post to Mim about your talk with God and quitting on Sunday.  That also inspired me.  That is why I am quitting on Sunday, the Lord's day.

I would appreciate any and all prayers and help anyone has.  I will keep you posted everday, maybe that will also help as I will be telling you my ups and downs.

I have a great family and now I am blessed to have a new family, my family here.

Well done all you ex and soon to be ex-smokers  My eldest daughter(22) and my younger daughters boyfriend (28) both smoke and are addicted. I'm always threatening to buy them Nicobrevin for their birthdays. I guess after my eldest daughter gets married and then has a future pregnancy, will be when she quits 

Neither me nor my ex-husband smoked and nor does my eldest daughters fiance!!
