Hello
I am pretty new to this. I just had to tell you about my story. I have had Fibermyalgia for years as does Mom and several sisters. My Dr. put me on Cymbulta for this. I take now about 90 mg. When I went back to him with some more problems he took several blood tests. Well my one test for my anti bodys came back high he sent me to a rumy and I got a n appt. that week thank good ness. When he checked everthing out about the blood work and asked questions about what was going on with me he told me right away I had Sjogrens gave me a pre for dry mount i see him in a few weeks again. he is realy good. I tell you If I did not take my Cymbulta for my aches and pains I would hurt so bad. I still have achs and pains but not as bad. I can live with it. I tried to get off it a few times with no luck because I would hurt too bad. I thought maybe it was causing my dry eyes. That was before I was told I had sjogrens. I still have a really hard time getting to sleep at night. also I can't sleep with anything on my hip. no wrinkles on the sheet or nightgown. no underwear. If there is a wrinkle ect. my hip hurts so bad. I was always called the princess and the pea because of that. I think my daughter who is 25 has this also. she does have Fibermyalgia . When she was a little girl she had to wear all her underwear and shoes inside out because of the seams. She is also the princess and the pea.My cousin has alkinds of tissue problems. I told her about cymbulta and her drs, tried it and they could not believe it worked so good. she was very happy said it was a mircle. The big problems I have are being tired all the time and my dry eyes, ears ect. If you have any questions about this please let me know.
Good luck Theresa

Hello Theresa  :)

Welcome to Sjogren's world! Thank you for sharing your story with us. There are quite a few people in here in their twenties. I hope your daughter doesn't have it - but it's possible. I'm glad that you've found something that helps.

I hope you find this site useful too.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Hi Theresa-
Thanks for reporting that Cymbalta is helping you.  My daughter, who is diabetic, is just starting on cymbalta.  Good luck.
