some of you asked for me to keep updated so here it is

saw my rheumy yesterday and he said that there is no reason why we couldn't get pregnant. He told us we could either start trying now or I could go on Plaquenil for 6 mo.s to a year and hope that when I come off I'm still in an inactive phase and we would have to wait for 4 mos. after coming off to start trying. He said since I'm young either way should be fine but we think it might be better to start trying soon as we aren't getting any younger. He gave me a referral to a high risk ob and I am going to make an appointment w/ her today. Hopefully the next time I post I'll have some big news to share w/ you guys. Thanks to everyone who gave me encouragement on my down days.

Good news, Lacey. It's nice to know your various doctors are ready and willing to work together, and with you, to make a pregnancy as healthy and safe as possible...we'll be waiting for news!

Good luck Lacey.  I hope the next report will be "baby on the way".   If so, I pray all goes well for you and the baby and both of you are fine. 

I think your handling of this is great.   All babies are wonderful, but those you have to work for are so very, very special.
