Hello everybody,

All my problems started one year ago, when i had the stupid idea to watch Dr Dray's videos. She mentionned Adapalene/Differin as a treatment for enlarged pores, so i decided to give a try and used the cream. After 8 days of use, my skin, mouth and eyes became very dry, so i stopped immediately.

I recovered fast for the skin, but my eyes still had problems. A few months later, i noticed that my nose had no mucus anymore, and i had a dry falre (thirsty like crazy, dry skin on face), but it went away after a few weeks. And now i have another big flare. Strangely, my eyes feel better now, but my faceskin is tremendously dry.

I read an interesting scientific paper about the possible link between isotretinoin and autoimmunity: "Isotretinoin as a Possible Environmental Trigger to Autoimmunity in Genetically Susceptible Patients", so i suspect it happened to me, and to many of you too.

I'm not sure i will go to lip biposy, i have positive ANA but that's all.

My question for people in the same situation than me is: did you find any relief ? Do you have positive antibodies ? And did you have some flares at the beginning, and then the dryness became permanent ?

Thank you !
