Head to toe pain

I?ve never been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but several docs suspect I have this.
I have various body aches, fatigue and fairly often have insomnia.

Periodically, I get BAD attacks of some kind. Actually, I have different versions of these. Sometimes it is very bad fatigue for several days.

The other is kinda worse. Fatigue plus pain everywhere! Hands, fingers,  shoulders, hips, legs, ankles, feet and toes. Plus nausea.

I had this yesterday and took Zofran  and Percocet. Then went to bed.
Omg. I?m about 75 per cent better. It seem to break the cycle. I felt it coming two days prior. Then yesterday, it was hideous.

Could these be fibromyalgia? Or is it just part of Sj?gren?s?  It left me drained and a little depressed...although I?m grateful I had emergency meds and am better.

Hi Nomad, hope you are better.

When I have a flare I have pain, fatigue and depression.  The pain feels like terrible flu (the sort where you think you are dying) with pain in every part of my body.

A prednisone taper will interrupt the symptoms, for me.

The fatigue is so awful I can only lie in a darkened room with my eyes closed.  I cannot read, I cannot watch TV or listen to music.

I take whatever I have on hand, and some Benadryl in the hope of sleeping through the horror.

Try an antihistamine. I find this helps with flares.
