  Hello to all.

For several years I have listened to music that others label as

"new age"   "spa"  "relaxation music"................

It all started 10 years ago with listening to Enya and other mild Celtic music.

It morphed into monestary music....monks chanting....etc.....

My kids did not like it and thought the music was "sad sounding"

Last year I discovered what really gave me inner peace and healing/relaxation

is music by Deuter...James Galway....Jalan Jalan.....etc

I load up my Bose player...get my remote...lay on my chaise with blinds down and just

drift away.....

Today I have listened mostly to Asian music and Tibetan with lots of temple bells and chants.

Please give this a try. It just may reduce stress and anxiety...etc. for you as well

I love Sirius Radio's 60's station.  All my stress goes away listening and singing the good old songs.

You've just reminded me: I used to love listening to Enya while driving my kids around. I'll have to look her up online.

My music really soothed me today.

I have been sick with a stomach flu for the last 15 hours

and laying in my dark room with the volume low

helps a lot.
