I sometimes wonder and give thanks to those who came before us.

Patients who were never diagnosed but, stirred scientific investigation.
Drs. and researchers who spent their lives investigating.. hoping for a cure.
Their ultimate dream perhaps not realized, but, their diligent work building foundations for further studies, discoveries.
Patients diagnosed, tests, DNA, some participating in studies (a fail is still a discovery)
People reaching out in support on forums, articles.

I take pause.. to care about you. Thank you and your families.
