Whoops, another new month already?? - it snuck up on me!!

To all those who celebrate a birthday or anniversary in the month of April, we'd like to celebrate the occasion with you - so, if you want, tell us the date of your celebration.   

Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to our members who celebrate the occasion in April.

I'm always glad to have a celebration that involves cake and/or presents! Hopefully, someone has some dessert this month to share with us.

I got another grandchild to be born April 8th (they are inducing labor). Don't know yet if a girl or boy. She has two boys already, a girl would be nice.

April 19th is my oldest grandson's birthday (born as the news was coming out about the tragic OK bombing - won't ever forget his birthday)

Roommate's birthday April 9th

April 13th my best friend's birthday

April 16th my half brother's birthday

Wow, I had no idea April was such a popular birth month

April 10th is the anniversary of the date I returned to work in 1985 against all odds after near fatal MVA

I've not been on much this last couple of weeks, but I celebrated my 57 birthday on the second. That was the same day we sold our house - what a great birthday present:)

I had my last birthday of my 5th decade on April 3rd! My DH spoiled me with flowers and dahlia bulbs to plant, a lovely breakfast, and a wonderful dinner (he's a good cook).  I confess that I broke training and had wine. I'm not one of those "oh don't make a fuss" people. I say--bring it on! I love to feel special for a day.

It's nice to be spoiled on a special occasion.

I always tell my DH not to buy me flowers, etc., - but, just once, I wish he would surprise me and do it anyhow.

I turn 33 April 21, oh how I looked forward to this time last year.  Now I feel like I don't have much to celebrate :/ sorry for being the buzz kill

DryGuy, I am so sorry Sjogren's has overshadowed so many happy events in your life.
You and your family need to have a great dinner and do something fun for your birthday. You have so much to celebrate this birthday: your engagement, your new job, your first home.

Don't let Sjogren's ruin that for you. I know with the dry eyes and dry mouth it is impossible to not think about it, but on your birthday just manage your symptoms and move on. No lingering thoughts. A mental vacation.

My engagement party is tomorrow too.  I'm going to put forth my best effort to enjoy it. I not only owe it to myself but also to my fiancé. She's a wonderful person and doesn't deserve to deal with all of this just as much as I don't. I wish I could just get drunk tomorrow so I could forget about SJS for a day... I've been looking forward to proposing and marrying my fiancé since we met(and it's not just cuz she's a beautiful blonde hair blue eyes girl, doesn't hurt tho). She told me a couple weeks ago that the moment she met me she knew she wanted to marry me.
