It was the same for me and my husband, We were a blind date....engaged 3 mos later! We have been together 18 yrs, married 16 1/2.

As of April 9th, I have a new granddaughter.

My daughter was so caught up with her new daughter, she forgot to tell Mama here. Baby healthy, 6.1 lbs

She is beautiful!!

Dryguy, I hope you had a wonderful celebration for your engagement. Congratulations to you both, may you always be as happy as you are together today.

Amanda, congratulations on your new grandbaby. Does she have a name? We have two boys and two girls, and will acquire two more girls in the summer when our middle boy gets married. I just love them all, particularly as they don't live with us :)

Thank you Katy we had a good time.  I had work today(still here) so no drinking also on a med that won't allow it for now.  But got lots of nice things for our future home!

Well...my "baby's" birthday is tomorrow..on Easter Sunday.  Mine was the 8th.  And amazing to discover DryGuy's is the 21st.  Happy Birthday Dry Guy.   Oh...fyi: my baby will be 49!!!
