In the blink of an eye it's already another new month.  Time for more celebrations and cake!   ;D

To all those who celebrate a birthday or anniversary in the month of February, we'd like to celebrate the occasion with you - so, if you want, tell us the date of your celebration.

Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to our members who celebrate the occasion in February..

I'm always glad to have a celebration that involves cake and/or presents!    :D

Hm very hard to make cakes that don't make me feel horrible, so would have to be a carob/banana/buckwheat cake. xD

Bucky

Happy 30th Birthday today, AnaGamble!  :D

I remember being 30 once, several decades ago.   ;)

Are you doing anything special to celebrate the occasion?

Enjoy your special day!

Oh, by the way, welcome!

I have a rather "odd" anniversary on Feb 20th. I call it my "Jane Doe" birthday. The day of my near fatal MVA, admitted to ER trauma unit as "Jane Doe" and not expected to live through the night. Coded twice actually. Family and employer advised same day I was a goner, no way would survive the night. I enjoy beating the "odds". ;)

This year is 29 years "young". WOOHOOO!! (oh wow, that's half my real age)

One might think it's a bit zany to "celebrate" such an event, however, given that with the TBI aspect in addition to numerous internal injuries, the Amanda that was before, was a different Amanda afterwards...in a weird way it was a sort of "birth day" albeit not in the literal sense.

Every day, and every moment, is a gift!!

Thank you! =^_^=
Well planning to do a "city date" with my boyfriend later in the month, but today we had a nice meal at home and a really funny jello for dessert and left overs we put out in the garden so that we could watch two urban foxes when they came snooping and scoffed it.
My boyfriend also did his very best to pretend like I could decide exactly everything we did the whole day, only failed to convince me once in the whole day. xD
He also gave me a silver jewellery set consisting of earrings and necklace with mockingbirds on them, is what he calls me when I tease him mercilessly. >: D
Also got a nice promise that sometime in the future when we have money we can spare he'll take me to a jewellery quarter and I'll get to pick something snazzy out as late 30th present.
He might live to regret that Hohohohoooo! >: )

Bucky

litliwlowa - sorry I missed your "Jane Doe 29" Birth-day on Thursday.

If they didn't expect you to live through the night after your accident, and you are still here 29 years later . . that is something to celebrate!!

My thoughts exactly!! And I am still here!!
(and it wasn't an "if" - liver was butterflied like a porkchop, and liver doesn't clot. 16 blood transfusions, two x "code blue", etc etc)

My dad always said I was stubborn. ;)

Thank you, Bucky!!
