Joe, I like hearing good news, so hooray. I believe in miracles so I definitely believe in remission. Glad you are feeling better, you deserve it. Keep on having those positive thoughts. Take care. CK

I watched an old movie today that pulled tears. Real tears not the ones that hurt so bad. This included a stuffed nose. I wish everyone here could experience this remission also.

I forgot to wear my mumps scarf last night, so I am dryer this morning. I will try to remember to wear it tonight. It is interesting how the little things affect our health.

I may be challenged in December if we travel to see our grandsons.

Grandsons: you know one will want your mumps scarf!!  My granddaughter, here with me now says:
"Sharing is Caring"

Did you get a spider plant for the bedroom? I used to give these as a baby shower gift extra (along with the little green machine...another story..lol)
Benefits: NASA places this plant among the top 3 types of houseplants that are great at removing formaldahyde. Also removes carbon monoxide and other toxins or impurities.  http://www.sustainablebabysteps.com/types-of-houseplants.html

Hope you get to travel in Dec. Think positive.. ;)

We had just started our trip to see our grandsons when I ran out of filtered water. I filled my bottle with tap water (Fluoride and Chlorine). Sjogren's came back and bit me hard. 2.5 hours west Jan purchased some bottled water. It started to come under control by the time we got to Ellensburg, Washington. I had other problems to deal with as we went through the pass in the cascade mountains. I am trying to bring things under control while we are visiting our grandsons. I may have to run tones. Friday looks like it may be a good day for that.

Lots of Christmas post card views on our trip west.

Joe, Sure glad to hear that you are feeling some better. Also, I think that it is great that you and Jan are able to take this trip. You both deserve it as it has been a rough year or so with both of you laid up.

We know that life is not without pain, but it is nice to have some "fun" things to look forward to. Pictures are great, but seeing the grandkids is better. Have a safe trip and I hope that you can avoid the nasty winter weather that is not whipping up Irish

Joe S...so happy to hear you and your wife have started your trip.
Given all the work you have done, your body/mind, toxins and all, due diligence is key for you (?). You will bounce back in your 'new top form'...you earned it!

I also hope you will consider setting up a Fickr so we your SJS family can share your trip photos ...spread the JOY.

Keep us posted, best to you.

Thinking of you and your wife on your wonderful adventure - grandkids are truly golden & seem to grow up even up faster than our own kid(s)"Nothing gold can stay." (Robert Frost).

...and thanks again for all of you your tips and advice - I am loooking into 'tones'.

I am allergic to pork. I stopped for lunch at a local Chinese Restaurant in Duncan. I did not realize that their chicken wings were fried in pork grease. I started peeing every half hour and sleeping in between. Water was the only thing I could keep down for over 48 hours. I was finally able to keep carrot juice down and now 24 hours later I am feeling much better.
