Ahh, new season of DWTS . . this time, the All-Stars.

I didn't get to watch the show last night, but I did watch it in it's entirety this morning.  Out of all the stars and their dances, IMHO, tonight I think Pamela Anderson will be sent home.  She doesn't didn't seem to have the fire in her that the others did.  She seemed preoccupied, distracted or something.

When I watch shows like this, I think to myself . . . "I can do that!" . . . HA, who am I kidding??!!  :-\  Although, in high school I was on the drill team that performed during the half-time at football games.  I've still got a little bit of groove in me . . . but, nothing like those dancers!   ;)

Anyone else watching DWTS this season?  Whose your favorite contenders?

Hey, Bucky!

This should be a good season.  Only a couple don't need to be back.  I think Pamela or Bristol will go.  I voted but because of brain fog, I can't remember which one.  :(   It was the last one.  I think it was Emmett Smith.  They were all pretty good and this was just the first week.

Boy, the scores are sure not what they were last season, are they?!? It seems like everything is more intense.

I love me some Apolo Ohno!  He's even cuter this time around!  I only stayed up long enough to see him so I didn't get to see everyone dance. They usually air Monday's show (or highlights) before Tuesday's show, so maybe I'll get to watch

I also enjoyed Helio & Joey Patone, and I thought Bristol did a nice job.

I felt really sorry for Pamela Anderson. She looked like she was going to cry!

I used to have really good balance, but I've never been what you'd call coordinated. I know I could never dance like that. I can't even do the Electric Slide! :P

Pam always acts like a slu*.  Hanging and slobbering all over her young partner.  She just comes off looking old and cheap and acting that way emphasizes the fact. She has so much makeup on she looks 65.  I think she will be the first to go.  Bristol got good reports from what I remember.  This will be a very good show for sure.  It's close though as all are very good to start out.

I didn't think Kirstie was that great, but she is always flapping her arms in front of her face and body and acting nuts.  I do give her much, much credit for being 60+, heavy and out there doing it.  She is much thinner than before, but not a size 6 like you read about. Maks is my favorite male professional and Cheryl the favorite female professional.

I am so glad Pamela went home!

I think it is going to be a good season, lots of good performers.
I like Kelly Monoco and Maks, Helio, Appollo, Emmett.

I thought it might be Pamela going home.  Like I mentioned, she didn't seem like she was focused on the dancing.  She did mention that she didn't have much time to practice.  She's going to be on Broadway, so it's probably better she's out now.  You just feel bad for the professional who is out the very first week.   :(

I think any of the "athletes" in the group seem to fair better as they are used to putting in all the long hours and work.  Also, Melissa has done dance, so it will come easier to her too.

Kirstie fools around too much.  With this season being the "best of the best", she's gonna have to buckle down and sharpen her dancing or she won't last long.  She doesn't have the graceful lines with her arms and hands, she just kinda flops them around.   ::)

It's gonna be an interesting season.

I think Kristie is there for the comic relief --- and because she's a big show-off!  I get a kick out of watching her, but I don't think she's a serious contender for the Mirror Ball.

I agree with Eyeamdry -- Pamela was an embarrassment to women around the globe. I was glad to see her go, but still feel sorry for her.

I'm still rooting for Apolo -- although I think Emmit is pretty great, too.

I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen tonight's elimination show, but I will say . . . the wrong people went home!!!   :(

I think this is the best season! What a great show, it was just wonderful.

My favourite has always been Sabrina. I was crushed the year she got sent home.

Bristol is my least favourite. Whiny, whiny.

I did not mind the eliminations. I think that the years they won were lesser years but that is just me. I agree Kirstie is not up to par with the others but if I can be that awesome, light hearted, funny and move like that when I am 40 much less 60 I will be one happy lady.

Love some of the men this year...  Mee-wow.  Especially Mak's younger brother. Kelly Monaco... Sorry lady, I do not get you.

And I do not love Shawn Johnson, but enjoyed the heck out of her performance.

Cannot wait to watch more!!!

I think it is a great season also!

Last year my son, who is an active duty Marine, took Kristin Cavallari to the Marine Corp Ball. I did not even know who she was when my son told me.
She was a reality star on some Laguna Hills show & then on DWS. Shows you how old I am  :o

Another week down - another elimination.  Bye, Bristol.  Although, Bristol has improved week to week, I just don't think she has the caliber of dancing that the others do.  I still question about Kirstie.  She will probably be the next one to go.

I'm glad Apolo & Karina survived for another week.  Poor Karina, she felt so bad about slipping and falling.  Hey, it happens.

Boy, Shawn is just a little spit-fire of energy, isn't she?  She's really good.

What's up with Kelly & Val . . they look a little chummy, chummy.  Are they an "item" in real life?

I felt bad for Susan Boyle - she looked terrified.  At least she had Donny there for moral support.  I heard on the TV tonight that Susan is performing with Donny tonight in Las Vegas on his show.  I hope her stage fright is a bit better tonight than it was last night.  She's still a very good singer and has come a long way from singing in pubs for fun to being on tour, etc.

Shawn is just adorable. Smiling the whole time. It's hilarious seeing the pro, Derek, panting in front of the judges and she's just grinning and being sweet like all she did was walk across the stage. Gotta love it.

Was thinking the same thing about the little love birds. I wish I could stay up late enough to watch TMZ - they know everything and they don't hesitate to tell it either! I can't help but stare, waiting for something even MORE obvious.

I hate it for Karina too, she's one of my favorite pros. Seems like a true sweet heart. Apolo was great about it, what a nice guy.

I totally agree, this is the best season I've ever witnessed too. A LOT of hard work and fantastic creativity is going into this one.

eyeamdry

Now that most of the "obvious" stars are off the show now, it is going to be tight going.  I do think Kristie might be the next to go, although I have given her "much, much" credit going on there every week, twice the age of some--or even more, heavier than all and she continues to excel,  She is not as good as most of the dancers but she gets credit for trying.  Am sure she will be next ti go.

I just like most of the remaining contestants.  Gille' is fabulous and such a gentleman.  Also a trouper.  Shawn is a 20 year old genius and might take the crown.  I still say my favorite pro is Maks, so I hope to see him around, but don't think so.  His brother Val is right on top with Kelly Monaco!.. Such good entertainment!  Lucy

I've been watching and enjoying this season as well. I agree that Kirstie doesn't seem as on top if it as she did the last season she was on...but yes I definitely give her credit for being out there working her butt off every week!

I also thought that Susan Boyle looked absolutely scared to death...she is a wonderful singer.

Keep watching and enjoying the season!

I think Kristie will be the next to leave.

Val and Kelly - oh yes there is definitely something something going on between them and it's not platonic  ;)

Apolo is a fierce competitor.  I don't think he likes to lose.

Emmitt has great dance moves and is so charming and likable.

My prediction is that Shawn wins.
