I've had a lumpectomy (b9 results!) two years ago and now my mammo report from Wednesday says "suspicious calcifications" and says i need a biopsy..surgeon appt this Wednesday... i am thinking positive but I'm a little bummed too

iraisin

oh Angie! I'm sorry. I hope it doesn't hurt and I hope it's nothing - just the doctors being extra careful with you.

Let us know how it goes.

I am positive its nothing until i hear different tho, especially since Ive done this before and 80 percent of all lumps and such come back  b9  :)

Is the appt on Wed for a biopsy or a consultation?  I hope all goes well for you.   Yes, I know that feeling you mention (that your body has betrayed you.)  Hang in there!

Thx WildThing  ;D. I love painting critters the most.

Kathy thank you so much.. I just picked up my mammo report because I'm curious and it had a word on it I didn't care for at all... Pleomorphic.  A cluster of small pleomorphic calcifacations ... Praying it's much ado about nothing :)

artistangie

Incisional biopsy Monday. . Pretty much what I expected but sooner and I'm good with that

Angie, I had a lumpectomy 5 years ago and radiation.  At my last mammogram and appt with my cancer doc, we both thought there was problems back "yonder" where the incision is.  To make it even harder I think anyhow, it's under my arm.  I had a needle biopsy and it was scar tissue.  That was a couple of months ago and I'm still a little nervous about "that area."  I think I'll go back to my cancer doc and have her do another exam.  Lucy

PS  Yours will also be b9......

susanep

Prayer said for you that all is ok.
