I hope this isn't too rude I'm trying not to be but I have just gone up another cup size.  I went from a B cup to a C cup a few years ago and now I've gone up to a D.  Haven't put on weight, it's just that my udders are growing.  Have any of you ladies ever experienced this?  Any idea what causes it?  It hapenned to my friends daughter a few years back but that was because she was on the Pill and she actually broke her hear over it as she doesn't like large assets.   However as I'm not on the Pill, I can't think what is causing it.  :-\

You know, for a minute there Joe I thought you were going to say that your boobs were growing.

By 'evening primrose oil' are you asking me if I am taking it or suggesting that I should?  I don't currently take it.  Have done in the past but can't say it made much of a difference to anything really.  I don't mind this problem though really.  Just curious.  ???

That happened to me in my mid thirties. Went from B cup from D cup over a period of 2 years or so. I was not taking any hormones or any medications of any kind. It just happened. I think I was genetically programmed that way.

In some ways it was nice, but it sure is hard on a person's back to carry around a set of boobs that are overly large. Thankfully, they shrink as we age!!!!! Irish ;D :o :o

MissyLouWho?

Don't know...maybe hormones?  As someone who almost doesn't need to wear a bra, I'm jealous!  ;)

I had this happen to me in my 40's when I was was in perimenopause. and what I gained in breast size is still there.

very strange indeed.

PSOS doesn't make them grow does it?  Coz my GP is not convinced I haven't got that.  My hormone tests came back normal bbut she still thinks it's worth me seeing a GYN but won't put me through that yet due to my other problems.  I stated off in my teens as an A cup until my late teens I went up to a B and stayed that way for about 10 years then went up to a C in my late 20s then again about 8 years later I go up another cup size.  Having to get rid of all my old C bras.  It's awkard finding clothes too as I still have very narow hips that sort of match an A cup and 34D bra sets come with size 12/14 panties which are way too big for me.  I have to get size 8 bottoms (jeans ect) and size 12/14 tops.

Now I am really jealous. Size 8 bottoms. I think I was about 10 the last time I wore that size. The bad thing about being big on top and small on the bottom (experience I got while nursing babies) was that I looked like I was going to tip over frontwards. Never did, but I sure looked weird.

Size 8! Sheeesh!!! I am really, really jealous. Irish ;D

I jumped a cup size due to hormonal imbalance which the gyno says is related to autoimmune disorder and poly-cystic ovaries.  Not to get too personal but I didn't even notice the discharge at first.  Perhaps something similar is going on with you?  I kind of like it myself and I was already well endowed in that area... but now I'm sporting a real top heavy balcony! LOL  ;)

well now that is making sense.  I mean if we both have SS plus PSOS that might be what is causing i in a weird, why on earth is that hapenning sort of way.  I know what you mean abut the discharge too (sorry guys TMI)

But yeah size 8 bottom half Irish...it isn't anything to be jealous of I assure you I am such a weird shape.  I look like I got the wrong top half stuck on the wrong bottom half.  I'm starting to joke now that I look like a 12 year old girl from the waist down and a glamour model from the waist up.  I mean my hips are sooooooooooooooo narrow we're talking like 32 inches.  It looks abnormal.  Mind you I've got a fat tummy maybe due to PSOS I don't know as I am a healthy weight.  Very odd mixture me. Still, I guess if we were all perfect it'd be a boring world.

    I 'm in my 60's - - -  and I've had the same problem in the  past 3 years.
No one seems to have an answer for me--OB-GYN, Sjogrens specialist, GP- he said it wasn't that abnormal.  :-\
I went from a 36 barely B to a 40 almost D!  haven't seen any changes in the past year. Thank you, thank you, thank you.      And I didn't gain any weight either.

Isn't it strange?  I wonder what is causing it.  I mean in my friends daughter's case it was the Pill, in some peeps cases it was a hormonal imbalance and in others there just seems to be no reason for it.

there are some stomach medications that are also used to augment milk production. they can increase breast tissue ( mainly glandular).

I am envious somewhat though- I am still an "A" cup- but I am a size 3 pant, so it WOULD look somewhat odd having DD's!! LOL

I am the opposite.

Women in my family have small boobs. At my worst weight, like 60lbs overweight, I had... D boobs. And I was nursing.

I lost 35lbs and am down to a barely fitting a C. I have a huge trunk and need a 38 bra, sometimes a 40. Try finding a 40B. Doesn't happen.

Most women I know have boobs that get bigger when they age.

Except for me.  For the record I nursed for 83 months (all 4 kids, combined not at one time or anything) and mine are exactly like my Great Gramma's. Thin and awful. But they did their job well.

I do get a wee bit jealous when I hear stories like yours!

83 months! Good for you!
Your children are very lucky to have such a caring mom!
I haven't done the math but I was pregnant and /or nursing for 10 solid years.Wouldn't trade a minute of it.
