I fell today. Flat on my back. I slipped on some lego's on the floor. My feet literally flew out from under me. I was hurting before, but oh my gosh. I am hurting a lot more and all over now. Nothing broken though. Thank goodness. May need them to see about my wrist though. Just what I needed. Other than that, I had a good day. Hope you all had a good day.

Oh, Luna, I'm sorry to hear you took a fall!

If your wrist is bothering you the most, I hope you have it checked out as soon as possible.  We can have a cracked bone and not know it right away.

What a positive attitude; saying other than the fall you had a good day.  That's a good thing!  ;) Please take care of yourself and I hope you're not too banged up and start feeling better.

Luna, good luck on a quick recovery for your back.  Gotta watch those little things on the floor.  I have no children around ever, so I am never aware of things on the floor, mine or others.  I tend to trip alot.

Ouch! I'm so sorrry! I have two young kids with little toys on hardwood floors (those are slippery enough!) and we're constantly telling them to pick their toys up, but well...we all know how well kids listen  ;D It's not Legos here, but Lalaloopsies and their ridiculously small pets and furniture. I've come close to falling more than once.

Oooooo Weeeee! Ouch!

I have a dog that leaves things all around. I try to be careful.

Speedy recovery. Get your wrist checked out and let us know how it is, O.K.

Good day to you too.

Get your wrist checked out.

Legos, I use a lunch tray to build on. I have all my legos sorted into the plastic bins that fit into big tackle boxes. I used to teach the kids that you look in the clear bin with the lid closed. When you find the part that you are looking for you pull it out and put it on your lunch tray, close your bin and then put the parts together. This way you are less likely to loose parts. It is also quicker to build your projects. I was teaching kids how to build and program robots made from legos.

You need to get your wrist checked out.  You could have a stress fracture there.  I know how navigating a sea of kids toys can be.  My son used to leave a string of toys from his room thru the hall to the den.  Now that he's grown he so very neat almost OCD about it.

OMG, I can't believe you fell today!  So did I!

Only mine was like some Charlie Chaplin thing and I had the whole office cracking up.

I got some cute new shoes with rubber soles to replace my slippery leather-soled shoes, and today was the first day I wore them. I was trying to back out of the way while someone walked past in front of me and my foot didn't slide across the carpet, but got kinda stuck. ZHOOP! Fell over backwards and rolled up with my legs up in the air like a turtle, then almost all the way over into a backward roll! Even did a little skid and got rug burn on both elbows.

Ahem. I am wearing a skirt today. Luckily, with black tights.

Gives all new meaning to showing your butt at work.

I have completely lost all credibility here.

And my elbows are stinging.

Note to self -- time to do some balance exercises.

I'm sorry for both of you!  Luna, at least your flying leap happened on leap day!  As for you, A66eyroad, I can make no excuses.   (I hope your audience was small  :).)

I'm trying hard not to laugh, because you're probably both hurting.  Don't these things happen in 3's?   Wonder who will be next...

I think falling in front of someone even makes it worse.  Kind of his your pride and dignity.  I know years ago I feel off the curb into the gutter while walking with a friend and her boyfriend.  And I had on a very short skirt at the time.  Luckily I did show anything improper but did ruin a new pair of hose.

well, I guess I'm next. Ifell out of bed at 2:30 this morning. I never woke up until I hit the floor. I was having a dream that I was trying to walkup stairs and my feet wouldn't move. (that happens to me quite often when I'm awake).   So I was reaching for the hand rail it kept moving further and further away. The n

I'm so sorry you fell and I hope you feel better soon..it really sucks to fall to say the least, when I did at work 4 years ago now I broke my left shoulder and wrist, and showed an entire cafeteria full of kids my entire buttocks!!! Don't wait to long to get that wrist checked, were not in the best shape these days!
