Avatars disappearing into lala land?

Okay, here goes...so my twinzy's lil fairy and mine just vanished and in its place was "I tried to hotlink this image but I failed Fail. Uh, I went and got another avatar that worked, but is something going on I don't know about?

Joe~ Why'd you change your avatar? Same reason? Avatar gods messing with you too? My twinzy might have to mourn her fire fairy!!

I know it is hard to see but that is a picture of my wife and myself at a renfest a number of years ago. CK had asked how to change the photo so I did one just to make sure I knew how. You have to use a photo that has its home on the web. I had put one up on facebook that I used.

It was weird joe...can u see flutterflys red headed fairy? I can now, but it really said fail! I changed mine cuz it said that but flutterfly hates change with a passion!

I work in the autism room so we preach...change is okay, but flutterfly will have to mourn one of the best personality avatars she could have chosen ...

Im the go to gal with pc stuff so I had to give her that fairy, but I can't imagine  taking it from her...

Her red hair pixie. The "fail" may be a timing thing with your browser. It may be a broken link to your browser because of your firewall.

Select profile under the search window. When the screen changes select forum information from the left hand menu. There will be a place where you can post a link to your web picture.

Sweety~ I think I just posted on your thread in the social room how to (warning~this is how I did it...may not work for all). I had to put flutterflys on for her cuz she's not as savy with these kinds of things;)

Joe~ you really see her right now? I still see the fail sign on hers. I can see mine now cuz I just changed it...I wasn't as.attached as flutterfly. I can see mine but not hers! And im on my droid and home pc to see if things show up different. Flutterfly is seeing the same thing at her house 10 miles away on her hubbys laptop. Different pcs phones and connections which would probably eliminate the fire wall theory;)

Any other ideas joe?
