Today I asked my rheumy to prescribe massage for my aching muscles.  He did it!  I went to a physical therapy center, and they worked on just my neck for the first visit.  They used massage, electrical stimulation, and heat.   I didn't realize how stiff-necked and miserable I was before.   My perpetual headache is gone!  I just had to share.

Now to see whether my insurance will cover this...

Hey Cheryl,

Good to hear that the masssage worked for you today and felt good for your neck muscles....also glad that your headache is gone!

I hope this continues to work for you and even better if your insurance company will pay for it....let us know!

Hey Cheryl, Think if you went to physical therapy, as to whether your insurance pays or not will all depend on how it is coded when submitted for payment.  Good luck...   Joy
