New Family Member!

Beautiful name...Callie!   Isn't it the most wonderful feeling when you call her name, here Callie, Callie, and those little ears come forward and those precious little eyes come 'eyeball to eyeball' with yours? I love cats and still have 3 of the original five my stray Calico had in 2000.

Vet mentioned that in human years, I believe, he said my cats are now 64 years old. I'm 67 and we do a lot of bird watching from inside the bay windows these days; no more daily walks through the meadow by the creek's side.

You know, Lynnmarie, some days I find.... my kitties keep my world revolving. As an animal lover, I know you understand this statement, just as the wonderful feeling I have being with this SS group...you folks understand!!!  And, when I hear my precious cats' purrs, life becomes more peaceful.

And, certainly a plus,  they don't talk back!!!!!

Hey Joy,

Yours may not chat back to you, but mine sure does!!!!  I've had a neighbor once ask what the heck I'm doing to the cat.  Well, as I was just coming home from work, not much yet!  Fur ball was just wanting his dinner, it was a tad on the late side, and he was not standing for that!

Oh yeah, if it's time to eat and I am late, you can bet Emily is a howling! She loves her food! I have a a kitty for the last 25 yrs or so, This one for the past 7 and the one prior for 18.5. They are unconditional love and affection....Love my dog but my kitty is special. Enjoy your Callie.

Hey Pooh,

Callie is doing great and getting in trouble on occasion like kittens do....lol! She loves her new home and gets along great with her two doggie brothers especially Bobby the Rat terrier...they just love each other. Sedric...the bigger dog...just kind of watches over them both to  keep them in line and looks at me like..."what in the world are they doing now"  !
