We've got a wiiFitPlus and I love it!!  Anyone else a convert?  I hate console games normally but this is such a fun way to get some exercise while it is too cold and slippery outside.

Today I did some yoga (very, very badly - what happened to my balance??)  10 mins of gentle stepping, some abdomen twists and a tightrope challenge that we all competed in.  I'm hoping it will motivate me to lose the 3lbs a fortnight that my 'trainer' suggested!  I've got very achey arms though tonight.  I guess it's just a case of finding which ones suit the aches and pains of the day!  xx Ailsa

We have it too - isn't it just so much fun!

Mind you, we have the guitar hero (guitars, drums and microphone) and that is just sooooo addictive and amusing, especially when friends come and join in.  I'm sure the laughing does everyone good  ;D

In fact, I laughed so much at my husband doing the hula-hoop on the Wii games, he nearly fell out with me!!!   ;D ;D ;D   xx

Hi  :)

I wish I had one! We have one at work and I sometimes get to play on it. It's not something hubby would be a fan of though.   :(   Al the kids have left home now so I can't use them as an excuse.

Have fun!  Scottie  :)

Sounds like a great way to get exercise and have tons of fun while doing it.....enjoy!

Love it! We got it this weekend as a gift from my inlaws! And we are having so much fun with it!  With the rain this time of year its hard to get out and about, this is a great alternative to getting up and moving around!  And if you get too tired we throw on the Mario Kart! Great time to buy it right now too its gone down in price and they created a Wii fit/plus console thats way more affordable than it used to be!

;D

I would love to have video of all you!!   ;D  We don't have one - but we did try it at my nieces one time - it was fun.  Enjoy your new "toy" - hope you find it helpful to you while you are cooped up indoors.  Any time you are movin' and a groovin' is good.   ;D   ;D

We got my daughter one for Christmas and I love it. When I did the Wiifit age calculator I found out just how bad my balance has gotten - the thing even asked me if I fall down a lot!!   :D

Hehe - I'm having the last laugh in my house!  My 23 yr old son has a WiiFit age of 38, 14 yr old daughter is 34, 50 yr old friend is 74 and newly 50 me is...50!!Mind you, I have taken to answering the machine back.  This morning, it greeted me with a 'nice to see you back!  Were you busy yesterday?"  Yes I *#%&#* well was!  Not sure I like it checking up on me!!

Ooooh they are that good eh?, think I could be tempted with one as I could sure do with the extra exercise.

I got one last Christmas and it has helped with my balance. I also like the bowling on the Wll.  Give that a try and get real silly and try bowling with first the right then the left hand.  It will give you a nice easy workout.  I also have Gym's Gold boxing that gives you the same easy get up and move workout.

I have one and think its great fun... must get back to getting fitter again now the festivities are over!

Blue Kat

I really want to get one, but I live alone and I'm terrible in the self-motivation area...do you think it would be enough fun to keep me going?

Bernice

My youngest son had one or he was playing at a friend's. Anyway he said that thing told him he was overweight! ;D ;D ;D Now mind you, I'm quite sensitive about my weight and the last thing I want is some computer calling me fat, that to me is a one way conversation I don't want to have. My son could stand to shape up a little, not too much though, he is a big boned guy true that, but not fat, so what if that thing sense my fat shaking all over the place or something.

Can you play it on mute???

lynnmarie219

Bernice....you crack me up...but I agree...don't want no computer calling me fat!  :D
