Its only a little thing really, but am really pleased... today I finished paining my living room!  I have only been freshening up the walls with a new coat of emulsion, but it has taken me so long!!  Have a new wooden floor down and now new walls... just waiting for my new sofas to arrive in a week's time!! Been sitting on the floor for over a month whilst the redec was going on as I gave my old sofas to a friend  ;D

Hurry up new sofas!!!

Always exciting when you spruce a room in the house up!  Enjoy the new sofas when they arrive :D

PS.   When the job is done, it no longer matters how long it took! ;D

I don't think that is a little thing at all...redecorating a room is huge to me!  :o

So glad its almost done and you are happy with it...and you will be happier when the new furniture arrives so you can lounge in style!

Good for you!

Well done Fluffie. That's a pretty good achievement in my book too!

Enjoy your new sofas.

Wow, Fluffie!  You are amazing!

You painted a whole room?  I can barely clean the walls three to four times a year!  Dang girl, let me know what you are taking; I want some of that too!!!! ;D

Don't forget, take pictures when the couches arrive!

Take care and pace yourself now (you're making me look way lazy! ;) :D) -

Oh Fluffie, you are amazing.  I do hope you get to enjoy the new sofas real soon.

Doesn't a new coat of paint do wonders?  It always makes me feel so good to see the change it makes to my home.

Enjoy!!

Thanks for the comments everyone.. its not as big a deal as you seem to think. The room is only about 12ft x 10ft with a large bay window for most of one wall and a lovely fireplace on the other wall... not much wall left to paint!!! It has taken me over a month.. doing a little bit here and there.. the kids have stayed out of my way so thats always a bonus and the getting up off the floor?  Well, that is the hard part.. why are floors so hard??? lol.

I am not on any meds yet (except Amitriptyline for nerve pains and sleep problems) ... but three months April to June I was stuck unable to do anything.. and now I am out of a flare I feel able to do a bit more  ;D  I have an all important Rheumatologist appt tomorrow with my consultant so am hoping my last four months' diary will help him diagnose me at long last!!

Hey sounds like a big deal to me.  We are redoing a bathroom and I was pooped and hurting after painting half a wall.  Thank heavens for hubbyies!!

Hey and new sofa's are great for pulling your self up off the floor.  Not that far to go to sit down LOL!!

Congratulations.  Enjoy your new space!
