I am still in the hospital and just want to vent "I WANT TO GO HOME".

My DVT became infected and was surgically removed.  I am still getting temp. spikes.  A CT scan showed I may have a small infection left in the leg, so we are treating it with more antibiotics. (hopefully, I won't need more surgery)

Hi Victoria

(((((( V )))))))   You are having a time of it!  You've been in so much pain, I'm sorry to hear it's not resolved yet. No one wants to spend time in hospital but the hospital isn't going to let you out till you're fever free - are they?

I really hope the antibiotics do their work because I totally understand why you don't want more surgery. I hope they work quickly and that you're allowed home soon.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Never do tomorrow what you can put off till the day after tomorrow!

Oh Vicky, you poor soul.  You're certainly entitled to have a little moan, or even a big moan.  That's a long time to be in hospital, with hospital food and routines.  I always find the hospital smell seems the hardest thing to escape from.

Do you have a good view from your window?  I had an endoscopy yesterday and the view from the hospital window really helped in the nervous minutes before the procedure, and the recovery time afterwards.  We were on the 9th floor and could see over the English channel, across Brighton to the pier with its twinkling lights.  The weather improved through the afternoon and the sky was a lovely pale blue with wisps of cloud.  The endoscopy was a nightmare but the view was glorious!

Hope your visitors are bringing you lots of little treats.

Thinking of you - Chickpea

ps are you still on the CellCept or have they taken you off it because of the infection?

I hope you are feeling well very soon.  This is a great place to let off steam - go ahead!     xx

Thank you for your kind words. I have been off cellcept for a week now and can't be put back on it until after the infection clears up.

I am going to sneak in a nap. Take care!
