People with autoimmune disease don't always have positive blood tests and it is possible to have positive blood tests and the next time the tests will be negative. It is the nature of the beast. I can't believe that docs don't learn this in school but they don't.

Also, the docs have so much to learn these days due to the increase in knowledge and technology. I asked one doc how much education he had on Sjogrens and he said about 5 minutes. I told him he best be learning about it cause he was going to see a lot more of it than he would every expect.

It also blows my mind that the rheumies don't always understand that much about sjogrens. They learn about rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia and that seemed to be all my old rheumy thought about. I have an awesome immunologist and I don't need a rheumatologist anymore. Some immunologists are really into the autoimmune and immune diseases besides the allergies. Good luck Irish ;D
