CT BRAIN SCAN....

I WAS TOLD TODAY I MIGHT NEED A CT BRAIN SCAN AS I'M HAVING HEADACHES 24/7 AND NO AMOUNT OF PAINKILLERS HELPS. I'VE BEEN TOLD TO STOP MY HYDROXYCHLORAQUINE FOR A WEEK AND IF I'M STILL HAVING HEADACHES THEN NEED A CT SCAN BUT RHEUMY DIDN'T SPECIFY WHY.....

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHT I'D NEED A SCAN FOR THE HEADACHES?

dont know why the scan, but i know one of the symptoms of sjs is headaches.

I only know that when I complained to my eye doctor years ago about headaches  he orders ct scan of my head.. and as he put it. " I didnt find anything "

 Cport, He is probably being very cautionary, making sure that there is nothing suspicious ,
such as tumours or inflammation or such .

  Catscans can easily identify any trouble that might be lurking , so be assured he is going down the right path.

You'd worry more if he diden't do anything about. It will also relieve your worries too..
