Swollen Saliva Glands

Help..........my saliva glands are so swollen under my chin on both sides.  I have used heat packs and keep messaging them.   I can milk white liquid out of the ducts under my tongue.  It is hard to swallow and even talk.  What else can I do?  I have had sjogren's for 5 years and have done very well without a lot of meds.  I used to take minocin (antibiotic therapy) but now for the last 2 years have just taken LDN.   I had a flare 2 weeks ago that started the day after a dentist appointment and started on a antibiotic that I happened to have at home.  I quickly got better but this flare just started again today.  I am in pain and if I try to eat my saliva glands swell more because the saliva cannot get out!  Yikes, I look like a freak!

Apart from hot compresses and massage - I don't know know what to suggest. See your doctor asap and see if they can suggest something. Also rest up as much as you can. Flares can often subside on their own.
