Field trip for school

I am going on an outdoor field trip with my students today.  For all you out there, please pray that I make it through.  This is the last one--planned without me when I was absent.  Anyway--going to a farm..think of me today please...My whine of the day.  Just worried because my eyes are already hurting this morning and I am forever hot with no perspiration except on my neck.       Everyone have a good day!!!!

Back from the trip.  My last one since I am retiring.  The day was not as bad as it could have been.  The farm had many large oak trees so it was cooler then being out in the sun.  I mostly sat and let my other teachers do the moving around.  The kids had a good time and that was what was important.  The good man up above was watching me for sure.  Nine more days of school for the kids and ten for teachers.  I am counting the days.  Thanks for the thoughts.

So glad the trip went well.  It sounds as though you prepared carefully, and the shade from the oak trees sounds idyllic. 

How does it feel to know it was your last school field trip?  We'll be thinking of you as you go through the retirement process.  Post lots and let us know how you are feeling about it all.
