Lip Biopsy

Hi there all!

Just to let you all know had the lip biopsy done yesterday (results in 3-4 wks) not painful when having it done (still had palpatations, my pupils must have been massive  ) just lots of pulling, not a very nice experience I would say, although painful today, overall less pain and swelling than I was expecting...I am just very much praying for a positive result!

Thanks Scottie...sorry about your disappointing visit yesterday,  sometimes its like the doctors are on a 'power trip' especially when students are observing.  When visiting my GP a few months ago he had a student present and he said to me 'yes you are hypothyroid' he then said to the student 'this is common in the 40's' whereas previously when drawing blood to determine this he said to me 'your too young to be hypo' 

I should have reminded him of this during the visit with the student..they make you mad sometimes!

I'm glad that it wasn't as bad as you'd thought it would be.  I too hope that you feel better soon, and I'll keep the fingers crossed for the outcome of the test.
