Trying find a good doctor

I'm located in the Southern California area and am looking for a god doctor who can diagnose and treat me.  I am almost certain I have sjogren's.  I saw a R a couple years ago and he did all the tests which came out negative, but he brushed aside my worsening symptoms.  Today, I have dry eyes so bad, they are red and in pain.  I carry around gel eye drops and am constantly putting them in my eyes, all day long.  I have extreme dry eyes and dry skin.  Is there a main website in which I can find a good doctor in the SoCal area?  Thanks.

I see that you've answered my question from my reply to your other post, you aren't yet diagnosed.

Since I'm on the other coast, in another country (Canada), I can't help with a doctor, but sometimes you'll find listings supported by the state branch of the American Arthritis Society  or the Lupus Organizations (SjS is a rheumatological disease like arthritis and Lupus).

Meanwhile, a rheumy who dismisses obvious symptoms needs to be dismissed himself. Look for a second opinion, if possible asking if the rheumy has experience or interest in SjS.

Are you anywhere near San Diego?  If you are, and you do actually find someone half way decent.  Please post their name.  I've had no luck here in Sandyeggo and have given up for the time being...

And just get a work up and consultation, but ended up trying one more guy here in Phoenix who ended up working our great.
I've heard and read great stuff about Dr Franco on another web site, and think he would be worth it.

Interesting.  I am about 90 minutes from San Diego.  If this is what I have, then I would want to go about it in an alternative way instead of drugs at first.  Does this doctor also treat SS?

btw, just so you know, Dr Franco is board certified MD Rhematolgist, who is highly respected. I wouldn't want anyone to think of him as some frou frou alternative medicine practioner. Antibiotics are medications, they are not considered naturapathic but they can be less caustic to your sytem, and not right for everyone, but if it can work for some, why not..
