Dear Haggis,
That was funny. I needed a laugh about now as I want to run away. I was down the hill watching my son and his friend cut some tree's down and moving them with his back hoe. Just watching with my 5 year old grandson. And I got so hot and sticky I had to take a shower. Now I am itching so bad. sitting here in my pj gown writting you all.  My daughter who is single and 28. Thinks she knows it all. very cranky. She went to the YMCA with my daughter in law and a while back the Dr found some bumps on her thyroid. and did all the tests but the blood work came back fine. and she had a sleep study cuz she can't sleep and that came back fine. Well when I asked her about it again she said why was I so determinded she has to has something wrong with her. Talk about cranky. I am her mother for goodness sake I told her I worry, but SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!. Kids you can't live with them and you can't live with out them. I burned the cookies while I was down the hill. and the noodles were mussy. Can't win. No one understands what it is like to be itchy and tired and achy and can't see very well. The eye specialist called today and I am going to go see her on May 6. in John Hopkins in Maryland. Hubby wasn't too happy he had to take off to take me Bo Ho.its 2 hours away. My mom understands so I shall call her when I am done venting here. I am so grateful I have this wonderful site with so many wonderful people who do understand and I can talk to. I try not to talk to my kids as they think I am a hypo. Hubby sorta understands. a little.
Well thanks for letting me vent.

Oh
I forgot to say in my letter, that when My grandson was about 2 1/5 He learned about boobies at his Moms wedding shower when she got some sexy stuff. He ran around with it up to him we took a picture and when I took him to Walmart right in front of this lady he saw the bras and said that they were boobies. We laughted so hard. the ones that were flattened he said they were popped. He just wouldn't stop talking about them.

leah  he has always did strange things at strage times, i honestly think he was trying to make me blush, when i asked him he gave me the usual innocent but impish smile and said wooooooooot??  then smiled lol

trector  glad it gave you a laugh, good luck with eye specialist, as for the itch can i ask what products you use ?? im allergic to biological soap powder  makes me rashed and itchy, i cant use ordinary soap that dries me out and makes me itchy, shampoo is same if it gets anywhere but my head, i now use cold process soap ,all natural, and moisturise with all natural body butter i mkae myself from shea butter, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil, and i tell you the itch is way less, if any, and buy sls free shampoo , sls is sodium lauryl sulphate its in almost everything that foams, its actually an industrial degreaser and used by labs to irritate the skin to then test calming products!!

since i changed all my products i dont get that post shower/bath itch !!!  also these things are parabens free known to preserve the products but also linked with causing cancer, look at the labels on your products you ll find parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, or its slighty lesser irritant sodium laureth sulphate that in making it can have a bi products that was found in agent orange !!  marketed on sensitive skin ranges, wel it aint sensitive to me !

in my despair at itchiness i took up soap making, bath bomb making and body butter, even make my own lip balm, everything natural except perfume, even then essential oil can be used, there are ebay shops that sell these things  alot cheaper, i know, before this hit me hard, i had one :-s  , if its not affordable, for you, getting rapeseed oil or sweet alomd oil and putting geranium essential oil in it and using it as a moisturiser/body lotion helps alot, geranium is fab for dry irritated skin and known to help eczema.  i even get irritated at the creams supposed to help like E 45 and diprobase.

just a thought , but its so helped me irradicate  the rashy itchy skin i could have just clawed, hope this helps

*hug*

LOLOLOLOLOLOL  That IS funny!  Got to love our boys!

KYMOM

Wednesday,  All moms can relate.  When my son was about the same age he saw Titanic for the first time.  The next day in school he wrote in his journal about the woman with the big boobies that he saw.  Got called into school to explain that.
Thank you.  They say that laughter is great medicine. Roxanne
