I think I might have made a big mistake going to the Cleveland Clinic.  I called today to request a copy of my labs. I was not put on hold and everyone I spoke to was far too helpful and nice.  What's going on, aren't I good enough to be put on hold for twenty minutes and be ignored?  Don't know if I can get use to this type of treatment ;D

Epson, I am so glad that you found a good doc. You have had such a rough year and I know that one gets calloused and really sick and tired of the "going to the doctor" drill. However, your story goes to prove that we just have to keep on trying until we find someone who will listen to us and address our problems.

It is really a quandry to have to visit all these docs cause we are "sick" and don't have the energy nor do we have the money. Just goes to show you that life throws us stuff that builds our character! Take care and hope you will soon feel better. Irish ;D

Epson,

I am a little suspicious they are not really a medical facility.

Maybe next time you should ask, "Who are you people, and why are you so courteously efficient?!"

Obviously, they haven't read the chapter on "Treating patients without Respect."

I won't tell if you won't.

Yep,at the Lorain Clinic branch too after all the procrastinating and whining about wanting to stay closer to home and not wanting to start all over.New Rheumy greets me with a handshake and looks me in the eye when she says hello every time.Lab in the same building and I don't have to make an extra trip to the hosp. for bloodwork. It has saved time! It's so worth it to keep looking until you get a decent Dr.I'm glad your having the same experience I am Epson.I keep thinking yeah sure but wait until I run into real bad trouble then they'll show their true colors and say got cha right.Terrible to be so pessimistic.
