Kimbo,

Do you use Evoxac or Salagen?  I got to the point that I could not swallow food and Evoxac has helped me tremendously.  My mouth was so sore and dry that I felt I had no quality of life until I started taking Evoxac.  I don't take plaquenil but have taken Evoxac for almost two years.

I hope you feel better Kimbo! I know what everybody means about how you used to be. SJS really sucks.

It would be nice if there were treatments for SJS, like there is for psoriasis or RA. For some reason I think about Leann Rimes who has psoriasis pretty bad and she takes some sort of treatment that's made her psoraisis go into remission for the last 4 years. Or my brother-in-law's father who has RA pretty bad. He takes one of those IV treatments and seems to be leading a normal life now.

I know what you mean about missing bread. I also love those Red Lobster and Olive Garden bread products. One bread I have found that I can eat rather easily is from O'Charlie's, if you have one in your area. They have really soft rolls that are dipped in some sort of honey. Put a bunch of butter on them and yummie. They also have a great endless soup and salad, with a different soup everyday.

Hope everyone feels better!

Hi everyone,

I am still feeling pretty rough.

My throat has gotten very sore and swollen and my eyes are still draining and gunking. I went in dollar general to find baby wash clothes to use when I scrub my eyes with baby shampoo wash.

Buckey, on my way out I purchased chocolate covered marsh mallow cookies, also. When I got home with the cookies, they just were not as fun as I thought they would be. My throat did not receive them so well.  :)

Wynter, we have an O'Charlies. And you are right, their rolls are yummy.

Ohio, I think I will put Evoxac on my list to ask about.

Patze and chick pea,  I plan on opening my silent doc up. :)

I have a Dr. appt this morning to get some tr. with my GP.

Symptoms vary.  I have a friend that has hereditary pancreatitis and is luck most days if she can drag herself to the shower.  The meds she takes would put me in a coma.  But I have found that she understands.
Attitude boosters- if you find them please let me know so I can slip some into the teens OJ.

Hope you week improves.  Roxanne
