Frozen lake? Eek, glad I'm not in your area just now. Today I have actually sat outside in short sleeves in the sun. Now that is miraculous. I sat for an hour or so and watched young Logan playing on his scooter. That was a good excuse for sitting and doing absolutely nothing.

I have had a lovely Easter Sunday. Mass was wonderful. I love to hear the choir singing, and they were in good voice today. They sang one of my favourite, rousing hymns, 'Majesty, sing to his Majesty'. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Was a wonderful feeling of community.

My turkey dinner was made special with my father's gift of a striking floral centerpiece for the table.  It perfectly complimented my purple and yellow coconut cupcakes!

Dear friends

How lovely to share our spring celebrations with each other!  The sun has been a little shy here in Brighton, UK over the Easter weekend but we're promised a lovely day tomorrow.

Passover has been happy and busy, as always.  Lots of lovely almond and coconut cakes, but nothing to rival Sheila's amazing 'purple and yellow coconut cupcakes'!  We had first night seder with friends; second at home; and on the 7th night my daughter and I will be going to a women's seder with around 40 other women.  I'm sure you can imagine how much fun that will be - and how much food we'll all prepare for it!

happy easyer everyone! i dont celebrate myself, celebrated oestara a few weeks back, but i do send best wishes to all my friends. Was a truly lovely day here, we all went to a museaum in the area to see the coal and steel industry museaum and went on a tram. was glorius, which for scotland in april is shocking lol, hope all your days went well x
