Hi everyone,

Having to find my way around the boards a little, sure looks slimmed down  ;) !

So the new polls go under the "User's guide & FAQ"-section?

Best wishes,
Maria

We discussed Polls, and they can be placed in your posts here, in the discussion board.

To post a new poll on the forum boards, simply click the blue button at the top far right, "New Polls" That will open a poll window for you.
Check out the info on the home page  http://www.sjogrensworld.org/index.html

To all who are confused!!! I asked Quiger somewhat the same question and I can see that this is going to be just a really simple board.

For those of you who are new, this board change is pretty similar to the way it was several years ago. The board prior to this change was really great at first (as many of the old timers can attest to) but I have to admit that I think this will be easier. I was getting so that I hated to have to leave the discussion forum and head out to the separate threads with topics. I was getting so confused as to where I had posted previously if I had wanted to reread something.

Just be patient cause you will get used to this change. And be assured of one thing------there will probably be another change coming down the road in a few years.  :o :o ::) ::) 8) 8) That is just the nature of the beast! Life is always full of changes and it is just to keep us from getting too much in a rut.

Think of it this way. We all need to challenge our brain cells. Been there before!!!!! :P Irish ;D

That goes for me too but there must be a good reason why it's been changed...
Now I must ask: Why has the format been changed?

Interested~ Lesley (NZ)

Ah, I think the above post from Irish may have partly answered my question!

Kimi

Thanks for the answer, I'll work on getting use to this!  ;D I guess i am one who does not like change! LOL, just ask my hubby!  :-\
Thanks all for all the hard work you do maintaining this site! I know from former experience it is a lot of work and heartbreaking as well. So my thanks and appreciation goes out to you!

I thought the old forum couldn't be better.

Now find I'm so lost can't locate anything quickly or find new relevant topics easily.  Don't know if format is slimmed down or overstuffed into one big irretrievable hole.

To all the moderators,

Yes, I whole heartedly agree ;D! Really appreciate all your hard work!!

Question: would it  be possible to make a separate section for the polls?

I thought it was very interesting to see the stat's all bunched together.
And educative too!

Now we have do a "search" but it takes ages to find all the different poll-topics.
Posting them under the "Discussion Board" is difficult to find them too as we have to work our way all the way down through other, non-related, threads...

Hope it's possible to make an exemption??

Love,
Maria

Maybe it's a sign of "old age" but I don't like change!!  Lol  I will get used to it, but I also have trouble finding posts and such.

We are all in agreement that the board is very important to us.  The work the moderators put in is appreciated by all of us.  Sometimes we don't act like it, but we do appreciate it.  I suspect this change is because the old board was just too much work to keep up.  The options are to simplify or even (perish the thought) close the board.  Don't even think that.

I've seen many computer change overs in my life and none of them are ever "liked."  I can see where this board is more simple and I used to get ticked off because of all the different headings.  Sometimes a post sat forever and no one moved it along.  Ladies and gents, I think we'll get used to the board.  The old stuff will just be pushed down.  The place is chock full of stuff and I really wonder how many of us do "searches"  when we should.  I'm guilty on that one.

Let's hear the cheers for the board.  Woo-hoo.  Woo-hoo.  Woo-hoo  Lucy

What's up with all the poll discussion?  Unfortunately, hardly anyone participated in them, now everyone wants to know where the polls are.  In Poland ;D
