Rituxan Prep

Hi,

I was wondering for those who had the Rituxan infusions, what prep did you receive? especially how much saline?
Last time they did it, over 1 year ago, I didnt have any saline on my order, and stupid me thought it would no big thing??? yeah right, for those
of us with Sjogrens (and menopause), plus the prep of Benedryl, Im a dried out prune, no matter the amount of water I drink.  I was soooo dry after, the skin on my face-lips became soo tight and I just burned inside..My doctor has it on my new order, but wondering if they run it just before the infusion, or throughtout the entire Rituxan drip?

I don't have a clue on this but wishing you a good infusion. So glad that you caught this as fluids can be so important when giving us an IV med. Good luck. Irish
