Saw my immunologist the other day after having xrays on my hands and wrists and unltrasound on my shouder.

So they come up with mild arthritis in the AC joint in right shouder and impingement syndrome where rotar cuff is rubbing against the joints. ie if it keeps rubbing Hello torn rotar duff.

Xrays show nothing except soft tissure swelling.

So the immunologist decides i dont have enough ologists in my life and adds a rheumatologist and a clinical psychologist who specialises in Hypnotherapy/

Oh yeah for got to say he's now saying after two years yes its firomyalgia causing all your pain.

Went to the rheumy today. Lovely man he trained under my partners BIL so i know he's good. He gave me a steroid injection into my shoulder for the Arthirits and now am on low dose amitryptaline for the pain.

Have to fin the pschologist as well

So all in all on that day i collect 3 new medical problems, 2 ologists and a partridge in a pear tree...........

oh yeah almost forgot. Broke a molar the other day eating chips. now hurting like crazy. see the dentist on Friday (thursday US time)

Hi Pud  :)

We all collect a lot of ologists! How was the dreaded needle? has it helped? I hope so.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Hey Pud,

You seriously don't have enough ologists yet girl, go back and get a few more!!! ;) ;D

Glad to see that your doctor is prescribing Amytriptyline for the fibro (got to love fibro), I sure hope that it works for you!  I saw the pulmonologist today and he was trying to see if I'd try it again (nope, no way), or even try Ambian.  Nope, don't want anymore meds, got enough already!

Feel better soon and ouch, good luck with that tooth!

Hi Pud,

Sorry for all the things that are going on right now... Your social life sounds like mine.... drs, drs, drs.

I have had fibro since I was in a car accident in 1981 but of course didn't know I had it until 1989.... no dr dx me... instead massage therapist dx me and told me to go to dr....

Massage is the very best I think for it.... you just have to fine the right therapist no deep massage that is way too painful.  I have been on different  meds....they even gave Lyrica but I can't take it but my hubby is on Lyrica for something else and he things it is great... He says it helps a lot for his pain.  But if what they gave you isn't doing the job there are more out there so let your dr know... when I was on amitripline my dose ended up to 35 but that made me too sleepy.... but everyone is different.

Good luck and hope you get to feeling better
