I tried to find my vacation post/thread but couldn't.  I wanted to add this to it, but I'll do it here anyway.  We got home two days ago from 3 weeks in Florida.  By this evening, I could feel my usual "coldness" and I am wearing a bathrobe over my clothes and I have my little fingerless gloves on.  They are like computer gloves, but I wear them in the house to keep warm.  My shoulders and back are cold, my feet and hands are cold.

I didn't have this in Florida.  We did have a few nights that were chilly, but the feeling of this being cold wasn't with me.  Our weather (here) is turning colder and will be down to 17 at night.  Grrrrrrr.  I did have a nice time in the warm sun though and wish everyone could take a turn.  <Lucy

glad to see you and hubby got back safe :)

Not good dealing with the cold and post holiday blues, just shows how much the weather does or doesnt do for us.

Hope the cold horrible feeling goes soon, i know that one, went to tai chi last night, the hall we practice in was cold, i went into quite a noticable shake and my teeth were chattering badly, everyone asking  how can you be that cold?? i said im not, but my good friend ill health is .

The crazy part about that is we feel what is going on outside...the room temperature

stays the same...my guy and I have agreed on 76 for the thermostat...I have noticed

that 76 is freezing in here if the outside temp is 30 or lower, if it stays between 30 and

40 outside I seem normal, if it goes to 45 or 50 I get warm, over 50 I'm burning up..

the inside temp still set to 76??????? Then again I am going through the change but

I figure that would help during the 30 and lower time....

Maybe there needs to be a sjoggie mass migration to florida so everyone keeps warm. Or you could all come and live with me for 6mths of the year down here where its stinking hot.

Not so bad now its quite bareable at the moment.

Glad you made it back safe lucy. Hope you had a good time down there.

Lucy,

It sounds like you would be a good candidate for migration to warmer climate.

I keep our therm. at around 68, at night 65. I get hot. Put extra blankies on my hubby.

Glad you got go and stay warm for a nice vacation.  :)
