Hi everyone.  Have any of you read the abstract for this research on the Sjogren's World website?  It was the 2008 Innovative Concept Grant Winner.  Here's the link:

Also, any thoughts on a new topic of discussion for this type of post?  It would be so nice to have a place to post when we come across something like this that gives us hope for the future.  I know that this type of information is sprinkled around the various topics right now.

Forgive me for my sprinkling of posts here and there about research, hope for a cure, etc.  Obviously I haven't moved entirely through the acceptance phase of grief yet

Don't apologize for being hopeful.  I think I've accepted this illness but we can never give up hope for a cure.

Thanks for the kind words ladies.  It does sound very promising doesn't it?  I just wish it didn't take so MANY years to get from research stage to the end of clinical trials.  In the meantime though, at least it helps lift my depression a little bit.
