Dear Lucy!

I sure do wish I were there with you!  We didn't get up to 0 degrees today (Northern MN) so I'm thinking it sounds real nice where you are.  Have a wonderful time, honey!

It's 57 degrees here today and I'm freezing my bunions off.

Lucy,

As of last year, we are wintering in Florida.  We are not retired, I'm only 53 but I work out of my home and connect to the office thru the computer.  You do feel much better in Florida and can remain more active.  The sun and heat are remarkably good therapy.  We are in Lakeland Florida.  This year is much cooler than last year and I had to return home for 5 weeks to have my kidney removed due to cancer.  Glad to be back until the 3rd or 4th week in April and then back to Ohio.

I'm glad you are having a good time.  Bet you will want to come back next year.

Hi Lucy

Just catching up with the posts after our week's holiday in freezing Spain - yes the weather is completely upside down this year. Iroically, while we were freezing in Spain, the UK was having very mild weather and lots of sunshine! Tonight the heaqting is on full blast, the temperature is expecting to fall below freezing and there is the possibility of snow.

I'm really glad that you are enjoying your time away from home. Shame your beloved is getting edgy - mine would be the same - he has to be in his own chair with the remote control. He's such a home bird, but lovely all the same.

If your hubby goes home - can I take his place please? I don't take up much space, but I snore like a wart hog ;D

Katy, hubby is not going early.  Ohiolady, we aren't far from Lakeland.  This weather compared to Michigan is a walk in the park.  I think we're leaving by the end of this week and we've experienced both good and bad weather in Fla.  In Mich, it was all bad.  Lucy
