world  tai chi day i was told started out at 10 am local time in australia and finnished in hawaii , was great being outdoors, and for once in scoltand we had lovely weather !!

i think the excercise  i was show is a Qui Gong excercise  that i was shown, im not sure i ll ask my teacher/master.Not certain as we are learning both. I dont know if your class does or not. i started with the class, as i read that tai chi helps alot of conditions, and i wanted to keep movment in my joints, but i bought the DVD at the classs, as brain fog meant that by time i got home i had forgotten alot of it, DVD does help me focus at home, as im a newbie to it all really, only been doing it about 4 months now, but ive gotten alot from it!

place your index fingers at point that your glasses if you wore them would rest on your nose, you know where theyd leave a mark, press firmly but gently on that point, then move 1/2 inch down the eye socket and press again, doing same all the way round to the point below the temples, the move to your ears, take your thumb and index finger, and pinch the tip of ear, moving down the eardown to the lobe, when you get to the lobe, pinch it and slide you fingers down it to genlty pull the ear lobe.she said it was pressing on accupresure/meridian line points and helped, which it does for me.

must say you can feel the heat in your face and ear, and it really does, at least for me, help with the eye pain greatly!!

hope that wasnt as clear as mud lolol.

Also when i explained my dry mouth and my wish not to disturb the class by sipping water, and asked could i keep water near by, she told me that her teacher explained how needed saliva was, and said that she was taught that making the movement of a baby sucking on a bottle with you mouth and lips pursed out , stimmulates saliva production, sure i look odd doing it, but since ive been practising it last few weeks, it really does help!!

so my im sat at night pinching ears, pressing my eye area and making sucking motions with my mouth lol, but it helps alot and its working for me in symptom contol :)

hope this helps you and not too hard to grasp in font, ask your teacher about world tai chi day its usually last weekend in April every year, and i really enjoyed it.

I have been trying to catch up on my reading for SJ. I see Denise that your smell and taste is altered? I lost my taste and smell a few months ago, but now its kinda back but altered. It is a very disgusting smell and taste. In fact I am to the point where I am starving, so I am gagging down food! Has anyone ever had a problem with this like Denise and myself, and if so, what did you do about it.  I am very desperate!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I was just reading an article that said it could possibly be a b12 deficiency? Any suggestions out there?   Blessing, Debbie
