wednesday mc haggis

Hi there

i posted recently about the possible benefits coconut oil has on AI. i did take the advice of ppl here, but my GP scratched his head and didnt know, so i took it a litle each day building up to the stated dose.

I feel alot better, yes i know i got my emotions under control and thats really helped, but my IBS no matter what else is good never is. My stomach has came down now from a 6 month bloat, and i actually look normal stomached again , my hoarsness isnt half as bad, neither is my indigestion and reflux .

my fatigue is sligthly better , im not saying im fit to run a marathon by any means, but the agressive flare up i have been stuck in for months has really gotten better.

i got onto flaxseed oils and powdered flax seed on bio yogurt and honey for breakfast, but out yeast totally, take the coconut oil which also treats yeast overgrowth , cut right down on red meat, and upped fish and chicken, eating alot of nuts and seeds too .

im taking a vitamin complex designed by a GP for AI, rich im vitamin D and other nutrients like co enzyme Q10 and tree bark and selenium , and im beginning to feel so much better, even the stress of DX`s and not know what to think this week hadnt sparked me off to much, im still not tip top by any means, but i feel a whole lot better.

I ve looked into tai chi and there is a class 10 mins drive from me on monday nights, so im joining tonight, 4 weeks ago i couldnt have contemplated that, so you ll know im feeling much better.

im not saying yeast free , diet changes and supplements work for every person, but i can truly testify to improvement now.

i went to a body and soul fayre all alternative medecine, massage, psychics etc. There was a talk from jan de vries  the leading scottish herbalist and alternative therpist, been on countless Tv programmes ,,, there isnt an alternative therpay this man hasnt been trained in, i asked about devils claw for AI pain as an alternative to NSAID`s , and long term effects, and he was very happy to talk about AI pain control using it , he was very confident that many of his clients had used it in conjuntion with other meds and had great effects and nil known side effects long term, he said he knew from his clients some been going years that it had never led to any ill effects.

i bought some liquid devils claw tincture, took the stated 15-20 drops and within an hour i was freer in movement and pain.

2 days later now i feel so much better and its working better for me than the cocodamol did, i just cant take NSAID`s by stomach wont let me .

anyways i know check with your doctor before starting anything new, mines seems to know little and just says if it makes you feel better, take it, if it makes you feel worse, stop it quickly

Carrot Juice contains the precursor for your body to make endorphins. Endorphins are your bodies own pain killers about 1000 times more potent than morphine.

Hey T

Im glad you found something that has helped you. And also glad that you took pepoples advice and checked with your dr. Even when they dont always know the answers its always good to check in wth them just in case.

Keep us posted on how you're feeling. its always good to hear when people are feeling well too.

It gives people hope

So many of the natural products sound good, but can be toxic to the liver. I am hoping that you did check with your doc---I didn't quite understand that. The neuro effects of some herbs can be a nuisance also. Better to check and be safe. Irish ;D

Hi irish

this is true and i did ask, but then my Gp`s seem to know nothing, the rheumy think i am a hyperventilating fibomyalgia stricken tooth grinder, and therefore kicking my immuine system up isnt a problem for its all in my head, last count my GP wanted to know how SJS could affect the joints as its just dryness surely ??

I asked the rheumy if it was safe and that was the responce  " take what you like if it helps, if it makes you worse stop it fast "

so you tell me ??

They given me NO  i repeat NO meds in 6 months, not even good enough analgesia .there is co codamol go home ., any improvment i have seen has been down to me and my determination to get answers, i know long term these things can be very toxic, i know black cohosh long term affects the liver and kidneys .

right now i am taking the advice of a private GP who has researched alternative medecines in auto immune  , and coconut oil , he lectures at american rheumy seminars , because he has gotten some good reults, and is also willing to try low dose natrexone in patients ,  its hard when no one beleives you and even then they dont understand the disease process in any way  either , so being honest im on my own right now as far as medicine goes, and ive been told to go find what works for me.

Ive asked 8 different docs now, and no one knows anything except go home and think your way out of it, please do not in any way think i dont appraciate the concern, i TRULY appreciate the concern, for the only concern i encounter is the good graces of ppl on this forum, on mentioning the forum and knowing that SJS isnt just a toothlesss crone sero positve disease i was told,      "oh forums, great you ll never get out of it going down that road, your a fool "

so seems there is no option to me right now except trial and error , and so far the progress ive made had been down to just that, the only worry i really have is devils claw, but to be honest i ll take that very short term, its just been nice to have less pain for a few days .

You and i both know that my care  falls way short of what should be happening with me, you cant DX fibro without ruling out SJS , and its not been , as i aint been fully tested, so none of them are playing the game with me, hang  none of them are even willing to stick to conventional tests. If i mention MRI scan   i just get glared at like some money wasting hypochondriac, its horrible.

Th rheumy took 5 minutes to explain that an ex nurse got a flare up of fibro from an accident at work and tried to sue for 1,000,000     obviously i thought i was there to get cash from someone, i laughed hard at that, obviously trying to rule that that wasnt my intention first, i tell you its wearing my spirit down, its a wonder it doesnt flare me up badly again , so im out of options irish :(

You may want to look to check out this site: http://www.lef.org/magazine/index.htm They seem to have cutting edge information.
Health notes published a book "A-Z guide to drug-herb-vitamin interactions" or their site: http://www.rexallsundown.com/vf/healthnotes/HN_live/index.htm?Hcontent=All_Index

I try to bring any information to my doctor for two reasons. 1) to verify it is right or wrong and 2) so they know as much as I do.

Before I put up www.chakraforce.com I paid to have my doctor review the information. He provided me with a lot of success stories one of his classmates had with the tones and frequencies before the ATF closed down his classmates clinic. As he said his classmate had  "too many cures" for the American Money Association to tolerate. His classmate had some expensive equipment from Germany that was confiscated in the raid. The classmate had a 95% cure rate of AID's and a 98% cure rate of cancer before his documentation and equipment vanished in our legal system. It vanished after two years of court cases and jail time. Once it had disappeared, he was released and allowed to practice medicine again.

Thankyou joe

alot of reading there so ive booked marked those pages :)

great info on first site regarding devils claw , intresting reading .

In the UK its seems under the NHS the more informed you are the more knowledgable to the docs you look, the more obsessive they label you , its catch 22 , they tell you to help yourself, you do and your becoming neurotic, you need to just have a  nice reast, lovely if you dont have 2 kids and a home to run. I have to say a week almost on devils claw and my pain is greatly reduced and my freedom of movement is also.

I commened a tai chic class on monday, it was very like reiki energy i thought, thought i was sore and pushed past the pain, i slept like a baby on monday night, and felt better for it yesterday. was funny though as im in the class and the 20 others in it are all in their 60s was a touch embarassed at first that they were physically more able than me ,  but i got thropugh it and found everyone really helpful, if not a little curious as to why im so stiff and sore.I try to infrom the docs here ,but your rushed in rushed out, i shall print some thing soff like you say, but i ll bet my pound against your doller  i ll get the eye roll , you have to love the eye roll lol

anyways i shall read through this at my pace, im also studying for my reiki 2 week on sunday, and my brain is at slow speed, so might take me  awhile

Denise

Interesting thoughts on the carrot juice.   I have gained so much weight due to lack of exercise ,muscle/joint pain and weakness, but since December I put my mind to eat healthy and every few hours, I hate salads but have moved to salads, Salmon / dairy proteins, yogurt and lots of pea pods and crave the carrots! along with my multi vitamins, added Calcium with vitamin D (doc says low D levels, so now taking 1300 a day) and vitamin E as my skin seems dry and itchy (although I have lotion-ed twice a day my whole life).  but carrots YUM!! weird cant get enough.
what also seems strange my smell and taste lately are altered.

Denise

I have been trying to catch up on my reading for SJ. I see Denise that your smell and taste is altered? I lost my taste and smell a few months ago, but now its kinda back but altered. It is a very disgusting smell and taste. In fact I am to the point where I am starving, so I am gagging down food! Has anyone ever had a problem with this like Denise and myself, and if so, what did you do about it.  I am very desperate!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I was just reading an article that said it could possibly be a b12 deficiency? Any suggestions out there?   Blessing, Debbie

I have been doing Tai Chi for about 2 1/2 years now.  It has helped me with my range of motion and it has become part of my night time routine.  I find that concentrating on the movements allows my mind to release all the stress and tension it holds on to.  I am in a class with many older and at first I felt a little funny too.  Then again, I was glad it wasn't with a group way younger and had to be the old one struggling.  lol

Take care!!!

wednesday mc haggis

sassie   yup i can say same, seems to get me a good nights sleep and releases all the tension from the day .i have a DVD helps me to practise to

yeah its good that everyone is older, as you say your not trying to keep up at a gym, and since most of them have health problems themselves, understand if there has been times i needed to go get water to sip or am sore, works well, and my teacher is lovely has given me some great tips which have helped specific problems like eye pain !

great to hear your enjoying it so much, we all met up for world tai chi day , the global event at 10 am local time in each country, did the whole class open air and got a lovely day for it, was great outdoors

T,

Really?  I never knew about World Tai Chi day.  It sounded like it was pretty cool.  I originally started out with a DVD.  It was funky and I had to play it on my laptop in front of a mirror because the left was right and the right was left and it was confusing.  I stuck to it and then I wanted more and a real person.

What do they recommend for pain in the eyes?  I have that one too.  It was one of last years flavor of the month.
