From the rheummy in Pittsburgh,, he asked if I had gottena  call from the neuro,, about going in the hospital and getting the IV steroids, i toold him no i had not,, they called back a bit ago and want me to go to Pittsburgh to go in and start te Steroids,, I pray that is what is making me lose motor function in my limbs,, it was  pretty bad over the weekend,, constant pain,, cold intolerance,, just tottaly insane,, but mayne i have found some answers before tis all cripples me,, as you recall,, he has told me,,  I dnt care what your blodwork says,, you have SS, and nows its become a CNS problem,, wish me luck

Lots of good luck NavyDad, you sure have waited long enough for it.  Thank goodness your doctor won't give up on you.  I pray this treatment slows down the involvement of CNS for you.  I know only to well what you are going through.

Sounds like your on a roll, I assume that the infection as cleared or nearly cleared and now steroid therapy, good luck Dude!

Sure hope you have a positive response from this treatment.  I'll sure be thinking of you and praying for the best.  Hang in there!!!!!!   It can get discouraging.

navydad, Finally, a doc who gets it!!! You should have some improvement with the steroid therapy. You have had a long haul these past couple of years. HOpefully they will get you well enough to enjoy living again. Prayers will be offered up for your improvement and for you and your family. IRish ;D
