Hi Everyone,

Since last posting

1)  Diagnosed with Gluten intolerant - but still believe I am celiac (diagnosed with celiac by urgent cared doctor) even though gastro said only Gluten intolerant - have a hiatus hernia  and inflamation from GERDS was diagnosed.  Family doctor told me to drop my GERDs meds, because of my allergies.  Sleep Apnea undercontrol again, but pain causing major sleep problems.  Family doctor tired of seeing me so in September said he didn't want to see me till January.   Because of sleep problems, back to see family doctor in November.  He is referring me to respertologist (sp), and had another sleep study.

2)  liver enzymes still out of whack - don't know what is causing it - still believe I have Lupus

3) ESR and CRP elevated

4) have kidney stones - also have kidney problem - was back on antibiotics

5) still not on insulin or any diabetic meds - sugar up and down like a yo-yo

6) My naturalpath-Dr diagnosed me with Raynaulds

7)  Being checked for Severe Adrenal gland fatigue, thyroid disease, cortisol problems, and looking forward till tomorrow when I have 20 viles of blood taken

8)  Sjogren's still acting up

9)  Still very tired

10)  Lost me - wherever I loss my keys - maybe that's good

11)  Have much swelling in my hands, face and eyes, even though I am not taking medicine to cause it.

Had a better Christmas this year than the year prior.  Sorry I finally remembered where I put my sign in name and password.  Brain fog seems to be getting worse.

Sjogren's World happy 9th aniversary.

Hi Gerri,
Good to see you back, new dx's and all.  Wow! did you get all of those for Christmas?  Sjs gave me Raynaud's too.  Made me feel real bad...........I didn't get it anything. ::)

Sure hope your doctor's can get you straightened out and your comfort level increases.  This disease sure is the pits without all the extras getting in on the act.

Take care,

Pooh

Hi Pooh,

I got everything except the Raynauds before Christmas.  Raynauds (just diagnose last week) not fun when it's extra cold outside.  Even the mitties don't help keep you warm.

They say once you get one autoimmune disease, you get more.  I found another autoimmune disease since I was last on.   I had it for many many years, just didn't tell doctor about it until recently.  Vitiligo - I have a huge mark on my back must of had it for 30 years.  My mother had it, and so did my one brother - both don't know they have it - they always lived with it.

Hope you have been doing well.   I have book marked this Site on both computers.  Have changed motherboard on the two computers, so I lost my bookmarks so hope it doesn't happen again.   I am so lost without my computer.

As for the holiday it wasn't a bad holiday.  As for the added health issues, I could have don't without them.  A new car, new house all totally paid for would have been better presents I would think.  I am not good at winning at lotteries, so I guess I get to keep what I got. :(

Hi Gerri   :)

I sorry sjogren's has given you such bad christmas gifts! Pity we can't trade them or return them isn't it!

What are they doing for your kidney stones? I've never had them but have heard from friend that they are really painful.

I hope the checks you are having come up with some answers soon so that you can be made altogether more comfortable.

take care - Scottie  :)

Hi Scottie,  As to the Kidney stone - they are doing absolutely nothing.    I was told I have one, and then nothing.  I guess I just have to live with the pain.  I am thinking the doctor hopes I pass it.  It's possible I have already done so.  I am in so much pain most the time.  I don't know what pain is what.

Just catching up with messages on here, and I'm so sorry to hear what a rotten time you're having.  My BIL has kidney stones and I know from him that they are agony - yep it's a great pity that all these little gifts aren't 'sale or return' we'd be queuing round the block to get rid!!

Hope you start to improve soon.

Thanks Wen

So much pain going on don't know, but maybe passed the stone already, at least that is what I hope.

Gerri,
Hi, just to introduce myself, my name is Dan, I'm obviously new to posting, but I am very experience with Raynauds. :(  I wasn't sure from your post if you knew some of the best ways to control it.  I will be happy to share, or answer any questions you may come up with.  I will check back to see if you have questions, cuz I don't know how else to let you know when I am around.

Good luck getting your newly developing health issues (Christmas presents) under control.  I know sometimes it's hard to understand why autoimmune diseases come with an avalanche of problems.  Please let me know if I can help.

Nadmcd,

Gerri

Hi Dan, I suspected Raynauds for years, especially when I had to wear my socks to bed.  I couldn't even go outside very much during winter, my hands, and fingers where frozen it seemed immediately, even with mitties on.  I told my hubby that I might just have to wear my mitties to bed also.  It seems I don't get any sleep if I have cold hands or feet.

Gerri

PS:  Any information you give me Raynaulds I would appreciate.  I have a son who has Raynaulds, and has had it since birth.  Since he had Bacteria Mennigitis with Septicemia.  He nearly loss his fingers and toes.
