After the holiday kids and grands went home and one by one came down with nasty flu.It struck here on Sun. with DH then Wed.DS.I was so scared and hadn't got a flu shot either. The following Mon.,Tues. I felt good and caught up on chores.Wed I felt tired and sometimes nausea but figured a flare.Fri I had the worst back pain but assured DH I was fine.Lunchtime I had chill and took temp.102.I still fed FIL and called DH to come relieve me.I was hot and cold all day TH. and everyday achey. My family got some understanding of my pain levels. They can't believe I didn't know I was sick and they complained the most about the terrible aches. On a positive though we had a fantastic holiday and I was so thankful to have three good days to enjoy my family.Dh helped a lot with prep work before they all came.We plan a quiet Xmas though and I'm looking forward to that.

We never can tell when it will actually hit us, I wished none of us had to go through all of this stuff! I sure hope you feel better, if not then soon! Take care.

Hi  :)

The next time you're flaring remind your family what the flu felt like! Hope you're on the mend now.

Take care - Scottie  :)

For all the fear I had of catching it.It wasn't as severe for me.Thanks all.I really think my loved ones got a wake up call as to Mom's "illness".They were sympathetic before but now maybe enlightened might be the word.

That's good Ruby because hopefully in the future they will be able to understand better and even help you more when you need it! Enlightenment is a good thing!

Ruby, I hope you are feeling better now.  I have a dear hubby too that helps out when I'm down.  I don't know what I would do without him.

I hope your Christmas is happy and peaceful.

Hugs, Pooh
