Hi,

Just wanted to check in and wish those in the States a Happy Thanksgiving a bit late.  I've been having a tough time with my Sjs and fibromyalgia since surgery in Oct. and haven't been up to getting on-line much. It really blew up in the last few weeks with a new twist - migraines that didn't first seem like they fit my usual migraine profile, so I didn't treat them right away.  By the time I figured out what was going on, I realized I was out of my migraine medication, and it took 3 days to get it called in.  I WASN'T happy.

I started back on medrol today, which also didn't make me happy, but we're going to try an extended dose-pack kind of thing, so hopefully, I'll be back off about a week and a half after my next Rituxan infusion on Monday.

My son  is coming home on a 10 day leave before shipping out to Iraq later this month and I'm praying hard that my body will get its act together and behave while he's home.  I'm quickly dropping things off my to-do list for Christmas to make sure I de-stress and enjoy his visit.  The house was dirty when he left, I doubt he'll be surprised to find it dirty when he comes home, right?

Hope everyone is handling the colder weather all right.  It's dropping into the teens here in northeast PA for the weekend and I'm feeling the cold.  BRRRRR.

Hi Tracy,
Sorry to hear you have been so ill.  I hope your refill gets you up and going again.

Good to hear your son will be home.  I'm sure the house isn't that dirty and he probably won't notice.  Just being home will be all he's interested in.

Yes, it sure did cold didn't it.  Now they are calling for a light snow tomorrow and Sunday.  I think I would rather have them calling for 6-8 or 10 inches.  Then they would talk it to death before it gets here, and it will really only be a dusting. :D

Take care, stay warm and enjoy those 10 with your son.

Hugs, Pooh

Tracy, Glad to hear from you again. Sorry to hear that you still aren't feeling very good.

It will be so much fun having your son home and I doubt he will see the dirt. Just think where he has been crawling about in training!!! You are so right to back off the holiday preps and concentrate on resting up for his return.I would imagine he is looking forward to some of your home cooking.

Enjoy yourself and let us know how things go. Don't work too hard and rest often when he is home. Irish ;D

Hi Tracy  :)

I'm 100% positive that your son is coming home to see YOU and not the house - so he'll not care at all what the house looks like! I hope his visit goes well and that your body behaves itself too!

Take care - Scottie  :)
