Did You Vote?

Did you cast your vote?  It really counts no matter who you are for, Please Cast Your Vote.  This is an extremely important election and the wait isn't that long.

When my hubby and I got out of the car, there was a line clear across the parking lot and getting longer.  Then Pearl, our neighbor who works the voting place, came out and called out "all those with last names between the letters s thru z, please go in."  We were called next.  It must have taken us all of 20 minutes from the time we got in line until we cast our ballot.

Bravo!! to the people working these polls.  You are doing a fantastic job!

We haven't voted yet, but we plan on leaving soon. as the place is like...two blocks from where we are.

Our family has all voted. My son and I voted early - I  always vote absentee, and in addition to his school classes our son works as security at a Phoenix hotel, which is booked for the Republican election watch, so he's busy all day today. My husband was in line this morning when the polling place opened, as was our daughter, who called to say she voted before she got on the bus to the courthouse in downtown Seattle to serve jury duty. Her cellphone/IM system says "BZ, democracy at work."

Number 3 at my poll,, course only 300 people in our town,, most retirees and they go later on in the day,,

Really not that much into it. i'm thinking a male politician will win though.

I voted absentee.  The last time I voted at a polling place was when Jimmy Carter was running for president.  The line was very long.  The problem was on the West Coast, where I was living at the time, our votes did not truly count.  Jimmy Carter was declared the winner before the polls closed.  I was still waiting to cast my vote when that happend.  So since then I always vote absentee ballot.  The main thing is get out there and vote!!

Voted two weeks ago, no lines

I voted a week ago.  We always vote early because there are no lines but my best buddy went in this morning expecting long lines and no one was there.  So who knows?

Yup,I voted over two weeks ago with my mail in ballot. Where I live almost 2/3 of the state voted with mail in ballots.

Terrific!!!..................you all of fantastic.  No matter the outcome we have all done our part.  The cars of people waiting to vote are nearing out house.  It's unbelievable because we are 2 miles down from the polling place.

Just seen on TV that a lady aged 106 has just voted for the first time, can that be true?

Wow Jayne, thats amazing....its an important election that's for darn sure....so good for that 106 year old woman! I just got home from work and voted on the way home....they said it was a VERY busy day! I cant wait to watch the results tonight on TV....its so exciting!
